Rick's Market — Local services in Ocean City

I’m not sure if they are good or not. We arrived and ordered chicken. 8 piece with cornbread, but they didn’t have legs so we waited 20+ min for them to make more. While we were waiting another couple came up and ordered. They had to wait too because, again, no legs. The young man at the counter left and a young woman replaced him. Our chicken was done and she made two 16 piece orders. We explained that we ordered 8 pieces. The couple after us grabbed their 16 piece while we waited for them to make our 8 piece. The young woman then explained the other 16 piece was for a phone order. The whole reason they made the chicken was because of us and then we were told they had no chicken legs. Wings only. Our kids love chicken legs. It is why we waited. This was at 5:15 in the evening so they should have chicken ready for anyone coming in. It isn’t like they typically cook to order for each person. So after the young woman very rudely told us no luck, no 8 piece for us, we left. 30+ minutes of waiting at this point for nothing. I haven’t been this frustrated with service in a long time. I've journied to Rick's Market several times in my short stay already. Everytime I enter the store my day goes from good to great, good because I was on my way to Rick's and great because I am finally in the mecca of market in the world of markets. The store has anything from rubbers to help you and your special friend stay safe to chocolate syrup for a refreshing cold glass of homemade chocy milk or topping on a golden bowl of ice cream. Rick will forever live in the memory of my future family members and will be a staple in any future stay in the city of Ocean City in the state of Maryland. As I journey everyday to the wonderful place we all call Rick’s, there is a special feeling I get on my insides with joy and hope.
