Ron Jon Surf Shop — Local services in Ocean City

We love Ron Jon and always shop here when we visit Ocean City, Maryland. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we couldn't purchase anything because of the very low inventory. We were very disappointed. They were out of most sizes except for xxl. How can there be low inventory and it's the beginning of August? OC is very busy with tourists so why wouldn't you plan ahead with the inventory? Hopefully we can make some purchases when we return next year. Everyone in the store was complaining. My daughter and niece were so excited to shop at Ron Jon and we walked out empty handed.

The service at RonJon was always exceptional and that was never in question. I understand when you have quality items there is such a high demand!! ...

We always check out the Surf Shop when in town. They always seem to have something we haven't seen before or the trendy new thing. We have a few beach toys and waterproof bags from Ron Jon that we got at this location. I took a walk through and tried to show the entire store with video. Definitely filled with people and everyone was looking for and buying merchandise. I saw plenty of staff and heard an interaction regarding a customer wanting to use the bathroom and the staff member could not have been nicer explained that a staff member was using the bathroom but as soon as they came out they could use it. I will be going back again on this...

Beware. Extremely rude staff. The employee girls gave us a dirty look as we walked into the store. No one greeted us. I asked for direction to the restroom. One staff member was kind enough to point me in the right direction but I was shocked to hear another staff member mimicking me saying “excuse me excuse me excuse me.” Do you think I did not notice that? I did not respond it to your face only because I had two little kids with me. It is beyond rudeness. Whether the owners take customer service seriously or not (like they said they did in comments below), people need to know about this before they waste their time...
