I visited Luxury Nails today for a full set, seeking a natural, soft square shape with a hint of length. Despite my clear preferences, the technician insisted on gel, claiming it looks better and lasts longer. I opted for regular polish, knowing I'd change the color soon.
During the process, I asked for tips on a couple of nails to even out their lengths. However, only two nails received this treatment. The technician was pushy about gel, ignoring my desire for a natural look and thinner nails. I initially asked the technician to use tips on all my nails, but she said I didn't need them because I had enough length. I asked at least for a few tips to even out the ones that were shorter and longer. Ultimately, I ended up with nails that were shorter than when I came in.
Disappointment awaited as my nails turned out thick, uneven, with mismatched shapes, and incomplete polish coverage. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the technician blamed my choice of regular polish instead of admitting her errors.
As my nails dried, I became upset and started crying. My friend sought a manager, but the technician confronted us rudely. Despite my attempts to maintain civility, the technician was defensive and unhelpful. She eventually asked us to leave without resolving the issue, claiming she had other clients.
One staff member, however, showed kindness and seemed willing to fix the problem. Unfortunately, her offer was overruled by the uncooperative technician.
Overall, my experience at Luxury Nails was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope the salon can improve its customer service and communication to avoid such situations...
Read moreIf i could put negative stars I would. I usually always come in with my wife and get V and another lady to take care of us. i believe the other lady was Leah. Leah no longer works there so V always takes care of us. She is perfect and she never let us down. But i think there is new owners now because this place used to be called nails garden. It is now Luxury nails and spa, i don’t know exactly who the new owners are but i believe it’s the lady who runs the front of the nail salon. I don’t think she understand english fluently like Vee does but she couldn’t even check me out and i was just standing there waiting for so long. i recently found out she had charged me over the price that i always used to pay and later on that day. i think the same lady spoke to me on the phone and gave me a refund. But everytime i was trying to explain to her that the cost isn’t right, she always cut me off before i could finish talking. Like she didn’t care. she kept saying sorry after the situation was fixed and kept telling us that they will give us a free service and this and that. i don’t think a free service can situate the horrible customer service and how she treated us.I wish they just let V run it how she used to run it. I’ve never had any problems and she is so professional. i won’t be returning unless i know V will be the only one...
Read moreI gave this place a try about a month ago and I really wanted to love it, the salon is lovely, clean and bright plus the owner was pleasant and chatty, but the tech I had let it down so badly! Her name was Tiffy and she did the worst dip powder manicure I've ever had. In my opinion, I think she was very inexperienced. The dip was not finished nicely around my cuticles and looked really messy and one of my pinky fingers was finished really crooked and looked awful. I contacted the shop the same evening and arranged to go back to have it re-done. On the same day, I broke another one too so would've had to go back for a repair and so the same tech fixed both of them. But when she did, the dip was so much thicker and even more messy than before! The dip was all over the sides of my fingers and again not finished around my cuticles. She also kept catching my fingers with the drill which left me really sore afterwards. I definitely will not be returning! I believe the salon is now going by Luxury Nails & Spa. So...
