i will say it’s nice to have the online check in process, however when i was seen at the end of my visit im asked if i need a drs note to which i said yes, the provider asked me thursday okay to go back? at the time i figured maybe id feel better by then so i said yes. the next day i woke up feeling worse so i called and asked hey, could they extend that note, im told well you need to wait til thursday then call back. so i do, im on hold 15 minutes, tried calling multiple times no one will answer, so i drive up there to only be told they cant do it because my dr isn’t there? i called days ago, you guys told me to call back today but yet my dr isn’t working. so then they request me to make a whole other appointment? for what? i’m still sick with what i was sick with 3 days ago, im still coughing, still have chills, still in pain, and then after them talking to their clinic manager who claims they only allow 1 Day??? they weren’t suppose to give me more than 1, they weren’t suppose to tell me on the phone there was a possibility. all this misinformation cost me time and trips to and from. from the get go my dr was more caring to give me the time off my body needed to heal and because she wasn’t in office i just get the runaround, basically told they can’t do anything and if i want to pay to be reseen, for what? so i can have 1 more day? 1 day is ridiculous when you’re coughing your lungs out, back pain. i wouldn’t come here just because of that, if i’m sick i expect my dr cares about my well being to give me more than 1 singular day off work. ive been to plenty of other drs who with the same sickness wouldn’t have said 1 day off, that’s not even enough time for the medicine to start healing the infection, literally, plus they prescribed 2 drowsiness medications that i’m told to not take together so when am i expected to take them if you can’t offer me days off work to be able to use those days to take my medicine. the back and forth and mid information is enough to sway me and my family from ever coming back here, we have multiple people telling us different things over days span of time. i could’ve saved myself the money and time and went elsewhere.
regardless of their reply, they told me to call back to get an extension, which was not allowed they told me that twice. then tried to tell me oh well we could have your chart re checked but your dr isn’t here. okay and you guys told me to come here today, so why not inform me my dr would be out and that you’re gonna wanna charge me $200 to get an extension. you guys even admitted to me had my dr been there she could’ve looked at it but you still decided to tell people false information and then reply back as if you guys had no responsibility in what...
Read moreI had been sick for over a week when I went to this place. Having just moved to the area, I didn't know where to go. When I realized that I wasn't getting better, I googled Urgent Care facilities around me. This place was closest, and seemed decent, from Google Reviews.
Not only was it decent, they were some of the nicest health care professionals I've ever encountered (and I've met many, as I'm unfortunately sick quite often). They took me seriously when I explained my frankly incredible medical history, and took the gravity of my condition into confident hands (I was about an inch from pneumonia at this point). They were caring and informative, and explained their proposed treatment plan to me, with plenty of clarity about what I would be taking, how long I could expect it to take for what I was taking to work, what I should avoid, and how I should feel throughout.
I waited maybe 40 minutes to be seen (which the gal at the front desk told me was "long" for them), and the waiting room was clean, wet lit and pleasantly colorful, not drab or starkly lit like most hospitals. Coffee and water was provided, if anyone felt like it, and a television playing Lifetime movies.
Their notation system is computerized, and they were thorough in their vitals checking. My needs were met quickly, my prescriptions made out right away, and I was given a nice little goodie bag with a water bottle, band-aids, and a pen on my way out, along with aftercare instructions. I felt very valued as both a patient and a customer, and I was able to cross the parking lot to Walgreens right away to have my prescriptions filed.
Overall, I'll be almost sad to move away again at the end of the year. In the meantime, it is wonderful to know this place exists if I'm ever in an urgent care situation again. Thank you to them, and I...
Read moreIs it fun to go to Urgent Care. No, no it is not. That doesn't mean it has to suck. First, they let you wait in your car, in lieu of the typically disease ridden waiting room where others are dying of infectious diseases with easy transmission, so not only was I away from possible contagions, I was also able to blast the new Taylor Swift album, the tortured poets department, genius, while waiting. Something frowned upon when in a public space. And not because it is Tay Tay, but more of a blasting music in public appears to have gone out sometime between the late 90s and now.
Once it was my turn to be seen, which was a lot sooner than expected or quoted, the staff was professional, kind, caring, and funny af. I really enjoyed them. I especially liked my nurse, whose name I promised to drop, but I dropped from my mind instead of on paper. She was wonderful, please find her and give her kudos. The PA-C (Hazenberg) - her name is on the paperwork, so its a bit cheating that I remember, was also incredible. She put me at ease, explained what she was doing and why and helped me feel like I was important and not just another treatment case for the day.
I'm not saying that I love them and want them to all be invited to my wedding, but that is only because it will be a small affair and I have already maxed out the guest list. Amazing team, amazing people, ease of service, and the in car waiting was a positive for...
