CHINA FUSION RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Oceanside

Friday, February 3 the girl on the register was unprofessional. I had ordered from here a few days ago and they didn’t include the boba smoothie that I had ordered and paid for! I informed the Postmates delivery number that had texted me and I also called the restaurant the man who helped me on the phone was really kind and said I could come and get it for another day. Today I ordered from Postmates pick up so I could pick up my ordered and also pick up my smoothie from the previous order. I had called to remind them and the guy was helpful and said he was going to include it. Upon arriving the girl seemed annoyed already I don’t know if she was having a bad day but I work in a restaurant as well and she was unprofessional she begins by informing me that it wasn’t their fault and that it was Postmates then she proceeds to say that this time it’s OK that she will include the smoothie without charging but next time it isn’t on them…. Ummm I paid for the smoothie and called and the kind man said he would include it next time…. I told the girl I could pay for it if it was that much of an issue but I had been told something different. I never said it was there fault to begin with so I don’t understand why she felt like giving me a speech. I was really annoyed and will not be coming back I’ve been a customer of them for years…. The girl was clearly very upset she started speaking in her language annoyed to the guy that was trying to help me… the guy also kept telling her it was okay he had talked to me…. The guy did apologize and the girl then started to speak again in her language very upset I’m sorry but I work in customer service and she was very unprofessional !! Made a big deal over a smoothie like if it was such a big deal I could have paid for it :) she just seemed like she really wanted to get on someone’s nerve! Definitely need new register employees with better service! I give 2 stars because I do love the food but if you see a short girl with (pelos de elotes) fake blond...

Just moved back in town and was looking for a new Chinese food place so after having read some raving reviews on here I thought I would give it a shot. I placed the my to go order online which indicated it would take about 15 minutes, however, after having arrived in about 20 minutes the order was not ready and I had to wait but I was understanding considering it was Christmas Eve. I had ordered the house fried rice, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, and the cream cheese wontons. I found the overall price of $37.45 to be a bit on the higher side but gave it the benefit of the doubt because unlike other places I’ve ordered from before where multiple sizes were an option China Fusion did not offer a small, medium, or large option so I thought that perhaps the portions would have been larger. Upon arrival at home I felt the portions were rather small for the price, and after having waited I would have expected our food to still be hot/warm but it was almost cold. I only live 7 minutes away so this leads me to believe that perhaps the food was not made as fresh as I would have hoped. The orange chicken and beef and broccoli was good. The cream cheese wontons and house fried rice lacked flavor and there were a lot of fatty chicken pieces in the rice. Sadly I will be seeking another Chinese food place...

I love this place for its quality food and casual atmosphere. Don’t let sitting yourself fool you, this is restaurant grade food from a fast food styled vibe. The cuisine is freshly prepared and served rather than served after hours of sitting and being heated. I’ve only had the Orange Chicken and Chow Mein so far, but am very eager to taste the rest of their chicken and beef platters. I may even try some of their pork or shrimp options even though I don’t normally splurge for either of those with Chinese food. The portions are very fair considering the quality and price, of course I still wish they were bigger. One entree and side is more than likely going to be a generous portion. The staff all seem friendly at first glance, their focus is on getting their jobs done thoroughly and to the best of their ability. If you find yourself needing anything, just ask and they will gladly assist, don’t be intimidated by them behind the counter. I look forward to my next adventure here, I have lots of...
