El Bronco Mexican Food — Restaurant in Oceanside

Why eat here? The prices aren't that great. You have Mexican television blaring overhead. There are no refills allowed on drinks. You eat with plastic utensils. Using a credit card will cost you an extra dollar. Chips will also cost you an extra dollar and a sign on the wall tells you that “extra salsa” is 25¢. And believe me, you aren't paying for the great ambiance here, that's for sure! So, I don't know what else could explain them wanting to charge you for every little thing!

Why not drive a block east to Cejas's Mexican Diner & Grill where you don't wait as long for your food, the prices are just as good, the interior doesn't look like “the wrong part of town”, you get to eat with real silverware, chips and salsa are brought to your table for free, you get free drink refills, you aren't charged extra to use a credit card or for using too much salsa!

I'd say El Bronco is...

Ordered doordash, asked twice for no onions. They put onions in the burrito anyways. Apparently the guacamole has onions in it but El Bronco magically didn't know that. I call them for a refund, I'm told El Bronco will contact doordash. No one asks for my information, I'm rushed off the phone. I call back two days later, same thing... Told El Bronco will contact doordash and I'm rushed off the phone. I finally call El Bronco again, this being a week after making the order... Was Told I need to call doordash. When and how was anyone supposed to tell me this information? They took none of my information and I would have never known if I didn't call them a third time. It's now too late to get a refund via doordash. Terrible customer service...

This place is going down hill. Today Mother’s Day baby momma was sick. So dinner Bronco’s Soup for whatever reason this soup is amazing. Today the older lady that I believe or feel because I’ve been coming here for 10 years is like the owner forgot to put my small rice and flour tortilla in the bag. I had to drive all the way back and tell her she forgot and she gave it to me and of course I Astor for a free dessert since I had a drive all the way back for her forgetting to the most important ingredients in the soup but she said no they don’t make those they buy them from an outside source and can’t give me one for free. I’m so over Broncos Customer service Valeries is right down the street I just have to get them to make soup...
