The location itself is great. It's close to the 78 and the 5. It's surrounded by nearby shops that people need such as Walmart and BestBuy. If you're not from O'Side and got hungry feeling sleepy, there's a ramen place, Starbucks, Mexican Restaurant and Einstein Bagels across the street. That's the only reason why I am putting 2 stars in this.
As for the business itself, I am very disappointed. Two major things. (1) This place lacks the inventory. Might as well just buy items online. But I'm a big supporter of local in person shops because I'd like to try the items first and get a feel of it. However like I said.. due to their lack of inventory, they can't really deliver the top service that consumers need. (2) And I would like to specifically emphasize this. The management needs to reassess all their employees here. All the people on the floor are very unhelpful, extremely lazy and unprofessional. I had this Man that I was trying to ask for help and I knew we already made eye to eye contact but completely ignored me. Another one is too in a rush that just pointed out where I am supposed to go but gave us incorrect information.
Sorry but this is a terrible branch. If you want to buy stuff that doesn't need professional assistance such as tennis balls, rackets, basketballs etc etc then go ahead and drop by. Make sure you go in and out.
But if you are going to buy more sophisticated items that need info such as shoes and clothing then this isn't the right...
Read moreI just had one of the Worst Experiences. After a decline on my card…management was called to the front cashiers. I checked my bank account statement. I still had money. So I asked the Cashier if they did the transaction correctly. Out of nowhere, Nasty Manager Jessica, interrupting my conversation blurts out “ of course she did it correctly all she has to do is press a button.” I asked if I could get what the transaction did take back in cash but was quickly Denied by Jessica. Even though I had a receipt and we had just done the transaction 3 seconds ago. I asked to place them on Hold. I called The store to speak to a more respectful Manager, but guess who answered the phone? Yepp it was Jessica, so I tried to give her some pointers on Customer Service… she quickly became defensive and accused me of yelling at her cashier. At this point was done and hung up. Read moreEdited after visit 3 years later 5/2/2021: We came back due to looking for a specific shoe for my husband. The store is still beautiful and very clean. The employees are still not friendly. 2 stars still stand- don't ask the staff any questions/ for help and you'll be good.
Previous review: The store is beautiful with lots of selections. We were excited to visit the store for the first time. However, I'm not sure if we came in on a bad day, but many employees seemed upset to be there and did not want to put in any effort to help. My husband went up to an employee with a question about a size.
