I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service experience I had at your store located at 7323 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32818 on September 20, 2025 at 3 pm.
During my visit, the checkout line was exceptionally long with only two cashiers available to assist a visibly growing number of customers. Amid this, a woman who identified herself as the manager on duty, named Ranana, was standing nearby, appearing disengaged and placing hangers back rather than helping reduce the line or improve the flow. When I inquired why she wasn’t assisting with checkout, she responded in a sarcastic and dismissive manner, stating: “Don’t you think if I could help, I would?” Her tone was unprofessional and confrontational. I informed her that I would be contacting corporate regarding her behavior, to which she casually and arrogantly replied, “Please do,” implying she had no concern for accountability or customer satisfaction. Frankly, I was shocked by her attitude, especially from someone in a managerial position.
A manager should be a leader and example to staff, not someone who contributes to a hostile and apathetic atmosphere. If this is how management behaves in front of customers, I can only imagine the low morale and lack of motivation among employees behind the scenes. I hope Marshalls takes this matter seriously, as this kind of behavior reflects poorly on your brand and can significantly affect customer loyalty. Read moreBad customer service!! I have a receipt with a purchase using a debit card, first time went to return I was told I need to show the debit card for cash back if not only store credit. I went back the second time, show the debit card which was clearly written on the card a visa debit. The cashier still refused to give cash back because whoever processed the transaction when I made the purchase put that as a credit instead of debit (which wasn’t my fault!!) and since it cannot be credited back on a debit card I was only given the store credit option. Talked to the manager who refused to give any exception and insisted that there was nothing she could do! It was less than $9 and she gave me the stare with no apologetic tone and pretty much said that the store credit or leave!! The store manager didn’t do her job to manage customer dissatisfaction!!
