I went in after church to pick up a few things to cook a nice meal for my family. I have my 2 little girls with me and my husband is waiting in the car with our 2 boys. I spent 30 minutes shopping and talking to my 7 and 10 year old daughters and not really aware of the music. Now, I'm in line to pay and there are 6 people ahead of us. I noticed the music that was playing and it made me really uncomfortable. BAD BUNNY was playing and if you're familiar with his music it's very explicit. The lyrics were digusting and I did't want to expose myself and daughters to that profanity especially coming from church. The cashier was ringing us up and I asked to speak to the manager. She told me none was available until tomorrow. I proceeded to hand her a $100 to pay for the $82+ in groceries. While she was counting out my change I told her I didn't want the items and to just give me back my money. She took the receipt and $100 and went to a back room. The cashier returned and started to discuss the issue with a man who had been standing near the exit. It turns out he was in fact a manager. The man had the receipt and my $100 in his hands. I told him the music was offensive to women, families and nobody wants to hear that trash after leaving church. I took my $100 out his hand before he had a chance to say anything and we walked out.
I would like the management at Fancy Fruit to know that type of music belongs at a club. HOWEVER, to impose that profanity garbage talking about explicit sexual acts and violence on customers is wrong! You lost my business...

Generally, Fancy Fruit is a good produce store. But they don't excel in friendly employees or custom service. Not sure if it's a cultural thing... But people need to learn how to say hello! How are you? Did you find everything you needed? Also, learn how to say THANK YOU and HAVE A NICE DAY at the end of a checkout transaction. And for goodness sake, when you do decide to bless a customer and actually speak to us, open your mouth and talk loudly and clearly!
