In December, 2015 my husband and I purchased a few phones from this store where we had great customer service from a guy named Cory that unfortunately no longer works there. Yesterday night, I called in to get an email sent to me with a copy of my receipt from that purchase. They answered my phone call and basically told me they were closed. I was confused by the fact that they answered the phone although they were closed and unable to help me. They then told me to call back today at noon when they opened. So I called back today and they answer the phone with a simple "hello" I had to ask where I was calling to make sure I dialed the right number. I then went to giving them the info on what I needed help with and they told me they were busy so they couldn't help me. I then went to letting them know my experience from the night before and they then went into telling me that they were the manager. When i got home to recharge, I then found these pictures already on the phone of Verizon employees taking pictures. I then called them to let them know that they sold me a used phone! They told me that they use the phones to show customers. I told them i wanted a brand new phone that has not been used and showcased to customers. They refused and kept telling me they used it to only take pictures and that its not considered used! If they use a phone for an entire week, taking pictures and showing custmers then it is not a brand new phone! It is extremely unprofessional to sell floor models or phones that have been used as new phones and very dishonest and deceitful. Read moreI’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for over 3 years, but my experience at this store was the worst I’ve ever had. I went in to trade in my phone and watch since I upgraded to new devices. As soon as I explained why I was there, the reaction was dismissive — basically, “oh, you’re not a new customer,” followed by asking for my phone number. Immediately after, I was told they couldn’t help me and that I had to call Customer Service instead.
When I asked why, trying to understand, someone in the back shouted in Spanish (I am Hispanic) that I should just call Customer Service because they weren’t going to do anything. That was completely unprofessional and discriminatory.
I ended up calling Customer Service right away, and they not only helped me but also reported the store and the person who accessed my account.
