When I walked into KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Odessa, TX, I wasn’t in the best shape mentally or emotionally. Life had been throwing me some punches, and that day in particular had me feeling like the world was in black and white. So I pulled out my phone, did a quick review search, and KPOT popped up. The pictures looked promising, and honestly, I just needed a win. When I stepped inside, my energy was low. The weight of the day was heavy. But then I was greeted by Mireyah, my server and let me tell you, she didn’t just bring service, she brought sunshine.

From the jump, Mireyah confidently told me, “You came to the right place. We’re gonna take care of you.” And she meant it. Her hospitality was more than just professional it was human. First time visiting and host Dayami greeted us with a warm and kind smile! Lovely energy and very welcoming, quickly sat us and got us ready.

Our server was amazing as well and explained everything in great detail, as well as gave us some personal recommendations upon request. Her patience with us was incredible, as it was our first time and we had many questions. Customer service here was beyond amazing and we felt very well taken care of.

Atmosphere was amazing! Love the decor, very clean inside, music was fun and not too loud, loved the blue neon lights inside, and the Halloween decorations! The attention to detail was so fun and creative.

The food had amazing flavor! Drinks were very delicious too, I tried the melon tea boba and loved it. Wide variety of meats, vegetables, and sides. Also love that they had mocktails!!! This is such a plus!

It did take a while for our waiter to check on us to bring our check once we finished eating but other than that, everything was great and had a great first experience! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fun experience or...

First of all the food was amazing and the staff was friendly. I have to say everything was great until we got the check. If you are new to this as we were, pay attention to everything in the menu for pricing. We were told how to order and we asked a lot of questions because we had never been there. Apparently ( which I did not notice) the little blue label that said dinner on the beef option I picked. Not even sure if I would have questioned it had I seen it. I assumed that the price for lunch was for lunch, the time we were there. To be honest it was a lot to take in and figure out for the first time, at least for us haha. Anyways. The lunch that was supposed to be $20 each came out on the bill as $30 each. My point is the server knew we had no idea what we were doing and we said as much but it would have been nice to have that pointed out when we ordered.
