I was looking to update the head unit in my WRX, which I drive essentially just for car shows and car events. My previous Kenwood head unit was ten years old and had built in Garmin GPS, in which I was no longer able to update its road maps. I couldn't update the firmware in the head unit either because it wouldn't read the SD card, so the whole thing needed to be replaced.

I wanted something with Apple Car Play and I really like Kenwood quality. I found OTS Audio online and took a drive over on a Sunday afternoon to check things out. The store was clean, well-organized and they carried exactly what I wanted. The representative gave me several options and didn't try to talk me into anything more than what I needed, which was nice. I made an appointment for the following Tuesday.

I brought my Subaru in for the scheduled appointment and they got it right in. The installation took about as much time as they told me. As I was getting ready to go and they were explaining a few things to me about the new unit, we realized the tech had neglected to run the dongle cable for the USB power supply through the dash. The sales representative apologized and they took the car back in and rectified the issue immediately. Not an issue for me, mistakes happen, and they took care of it right away.

The new head unit looks great, works great and I'm really happy with it. The shop did a really clean installation and left my car as spotless as when it arrived. They were professional and I would most definitely go back again and recommend...

Here's my story. My wife and I went to the Pinellas County Special Olympics Poker Run last weekend. Apparently, they donated what was thought to be a new Kenwood CD player a shirt, hat, and a couple other trinkets. They were wrapped in a gift basket and the CD player was in it's factory packaging. As a gift to me, my wife bid on the silent auction because she knew I was in need of one and our son participates in Special Olympics, so it's a win-win. Right? Well she brings it home and gives it to me. Great! I open everything up and come to find out, they donated a USED radio. Now, this wouldn't be a big deal because it was cheap enough, but it's missing parts and I cannot even install it. My wife has been calling them all week and not only do they not answer the phone, they don't return her calls. It's been a week and nothing. I got fed up and had to order the parts from Kenwood.
