I'm just not really a big fan of this Starbucks, there is only one or two barista that are actually genuinely nice here. I am always polite and clean up after myself, I like to chill out with my laptop at times. It's a small Starbucks, the drinks here are sometimes good, but also 50/50 not so good. They have a policy for only refill if you stay in the cafe, but I went to Panera which it is attached to and came back 45 minutes later and was denied. Said it was fine to refill coffee instead, but then said nothing and tried to charge full price. That's fine and all, but I have had bad experiences here in general. This is pretty disappointing. I sometimes tip a few bucks here and there, I'm not the richest. I was in hospitality for a living, server/bartender for over a decade before I left the industry. Not a big fan of the staff here, minus a few that are friendly. The rest seem miserable here. I have a ten thousand time better experience at any other Starbucks within 30 miles of this location. I've even had a drink made poorly here, instantly left because I felt uncomfortable complaining about it here and the Starbucks near the Fleamarket took great care of me no questions asked. I'll pay full for a refill when I was 10 feet away from the cafe, that's fine, and that statement makes me feel really undervalued as a guest, and I'll stick to larger Starbucks who actually appreciate me being there. Don't come here to sit inside, unless you want to go drive thru, but even then I've had 50/50 success on my drink being made well. I won't be back, and I don't think they care anyways, so cheers I guess. Best of wishes with this location. I wouldn't even think of ordering a grilled cheese or spending any extra money at this location, sometimes I do. I will support the other local locations like Clearwater, Tampa Rd by the Flea Market and Dunedin Main Street, which are...
Read moreWent here one evening a month or so ago and ordered two drinks at the drive through, dairy free because of an allergy. A short while after driving off while sipping my drink, my stomach began to hurt and my lips were trembling. I pulled over to read the labels on my drink and the, very rude, woman who had taken my order failed to make it dairy free, even though I repeated the order more than once. One of the drinks was for a regular hot cocoa poured over ice, which I get regularly from other locations. The woman taking the order was so facetious and argumentative about how what I REALLY wanted was a latte (no, I don't drink coffee, only tea and hot chocolate) that she screwed up the order. Or did it on purpose. Who knows, either way I do not recommend this location if something as simple as hot chocolate poured over ice is such a difficult concept that an associate feels the need to argue over it and then fulfill the most important part of the order that would effect...
Read moreI come to this location every day. Sometimes even twice a day. A couple of the employees even know my car & know my drink by heart as soon as I get to the drive thru, which I appreciate & that absolutely rocks! They're amazing. What's not so amazing is the service I get when I come through in the afternoon around 2ish. The guy with the man bun & the beard is miserable. Doesn't say hello, doesn't smile, doesn't even say "have a nice day", NOTHING. He even has left me sitting there at the window with his back to me waiting for my drink to be made, when usually they say "hi, how are you? It'll be ready in just a minute." He just goes through the motions like a robot & you can tell he hates his job. Or at least that's what it appears. I don't ask for much but a smile & some sort of conversation. I will keep coming back since it's on my way to work, but this guy needs some rainbows & butterflies in his life. And to get rid of...
