I am at the Olive Branch UPS store often at least 5 times a week. The customer service is AWESOME! CAROL is my go to person she is very professional,knowledgeable and tries her best to get you in and out in a timely manner which I absolutely LOVE! Without Carol this UPS store would NOT run smoothly and effectively. Don’t get me wrong the other associates are FANTASTIC also BUT Carol is the absolute BACKBONE to this UPS store.This UPS store has come a long way in the past 3-4 years, a lot of their customers are very rude not to mention very demanding, believe me I have witnessed this rudeness for myself. Let’s face it getting great customer service has become obsolete which is pathetic but NOT at this particular UPS store! Please acknowledge CAROL for her OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONALISM with ALL of the UPS customers at the Olive Branch, MS store. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty! We need more people just like Carol to keep superior customer service alive! I’m at the local UPS store several times a week. I would like to recognize a young man named Brandan for his awesome customer service skills he’s very patient, very attentive, very friendly & very respectful it’s very obvious he takes great pride in each and every one of his customers by giving them great personal customer service with a big smile on his face and he always adds a personal touch at the end by saying thank you have a safe day, Great to see you again and I hope to see you again soon. My son visited the UPS store on July 16,2024 to mail off a payment for me & his experience was horrible. He was assisted by an employee by the name of Carol & she was very rude with a nasty nonchalant attitude. She did not care & it showed. He called me on the phone to tell me that she wouldn’t let him 2 day air my payment because it had to be overnight. I asked her was it not accepting 2 day air in the computer for that address she continues to to tell me she has done those type of payments before & they have to be overnighted. I explained that I always send it 2 day air & it would be fine. She kept trying to make me send in my payment overnight. She continues to go back & forth with me over the phone then she yelled I’ll do it this time but I won’t do it again. So I get off the phone with my son only for him to call me & tell me that the price was cheaper than the price he normally pays. He sent me a picture of the receipt & she purposely sent my delivery ground. I had to return to UPS & speak with someone about my package being delivered because I needed it delivered on an exact date & with 2 day air it would have made it in time. I spoke with a nice young man name Deunta & he went above and beyond to help me as much as he could, but because the mail had already left the building there wasn’t much he could do. All of the other staff members have been extremely nice & professional. Carol was rude, unprofessional, has a nasty attitude & doesn’t value the customer. Attempted to order a printed document thru the store's website, but website wouldn't work. So I drove to the store with my file on a flash drive and requested that they print my document. The clerk informed me that unless the flash drive was brand new and there were no other files on the drive, they would not print, and told me to go home and order thru their website. Explained their website was ot working and was told to then email the file to the store and request my printing specifications in the body of the email. So I did. Have made multiple attempts to retrieve my order without success, but today's attempt takes the cake.
Sent my daughter up to the UPS store to pick up my print order, and she was told by the clerk that they never received the order. Explained that I received an email confirming they received my request. Clerk said Clerk then said that unless I had specified in the body of the email that I wanted the file printed and that I would come to pick it up, they don't print anything. Explained that I did just that and reiterated that I had received a confirmation email. Clerk repeated himself and told my daughter "everyone gets those emails, but we don't do anything with that stuff."
Don't waste your time going to the OB UPS, you're better off to drive to Southaven or even Memphis if you actually want to accomplish something....
