I priced my order according to the website. When got into the car, I noticed the price per shirt was 2 dollars more than what the website said. I am a stay at home mom and making shirts is how I make extra money. I called the store while still in the parking lot and explained that I was over charged $8. 4 tank tops for 12 dollars each, website says 10 dollars each. An employee answered and I explained what happened. I explained i was over charged according to the website price. He said that the shirts have been 12 dollars for the past 3 months. I told him that I have never bought tank tops before and that they should honor the website price and make it right for the customer. He put me on hold and asked the owner Murry. He said the owner told him they couldnt refund since their supplier went up on price. The employee also explained that they are making a FB post about the new price now.... I asked to speak to the owner so I didnt have to go back and forth any longer, meanwhile my 1 year old is yelling in the car lol. Murry answered the phone and I explained the situation. He said his supplier went up on price so he had to go up on price. Also he said that his website is run by a third party and they havent updated it. I told him that the website represents their company and they should honor the price they have listed. It should have been updated 3 months ago and the employee is just now making a FB post for the new price. He should make things right with the customer. He said he could return all the shirts but only give me a store credit.... He did not seem sympathetic to my concerns and their business/advertising is wrong. Because of their error, I lost 1/2 my profit on this order. I know $8 bucks dont seem like much, but it is when I am a stay at home Mom with my disabled child. I have never had any problems with this store. I have been in there several times. I never see prices on the hoodies or tanks when I have been in the store on the rolling racks. He said there is a sign posted.... he was just very rude and argumentative. I only imagine they make good money when they buy in bulk and up charge the prices. They bought prime real estate and are building a new building on Goodman Rd. Just says alot they wont make things right with a customer and they chose to loose a loyal customer over...
Read moreIf you want a large selection of vinyl and shirts to put them on at pretty great prices, this is your place to go. The hourly staff on site are pretty great at doing what they can to help, and the store is always tidy thanks to them.
However, if you’re a person of color, I would be highly hesitant to spend your hard-earned money here if you can avoid doing so. The two middle-aged people, whom I have to assume are the owners, have been known to make racial slurs and are generally racist people (though mostly behind closed doors, besides what I’ve personally heard in the store myself as a frequent customer while thinking they were being quiet). It’s usually the bald white guy, and the lady that looks as if she’s had far too much plastic surgery; I’m unsure of their names, and don’t much care to include them anyway.
In addition, they seem to treat their hourly employees pretty awfully. I’m not sure what they’re paying them, but I’m sure it’s not enough as the two owners I mentioned earlier have publicly and obnoxiously reprimanded their employees in front of patrons, including myself! I felt embarrassed for everyone involved when it happened.
I’ve since decided to take my business elsewhere. Their store isn’t the only around to buy from, and I would encourage anyone that wants to support small businesses to go try other places - the owners are highly...
