I was hospitalized with a hypertension crisis. The prescription sent by the hospital contained the incorrect total of pills based on my discharged paperwork. I called this store on 10/27/24, the pharmacist on duty, Dr. Scrubs/Shruggs (if this is even her real name) was unnecessarily rude, nasty, aggressive, and hostile on the phone with. I have the entire conversation recorded. My husband picked up my prescription and when he returned I noticed the wrong insurance information was used. I called back to inform her the information was incorrect and I mentioned when I spoke with her this morning prior to picking up the prescription, my insurance changed. She stated she has the new information (assuming it was provided by the hospital). She told me the prescription information is different because I got a new prescription today, which I did not! I told her she was incorrect, she called me a liar and kept placing me on hold. Each time she returned she was extra rude and aggressive. Not one time did I realize my voice at her nor was I disrespectful to her. She continued to be nasty which I finally responded to her stating she owed me an apologize for calling me a liar about my prescription, which was dated 10/26. She told me she would not apologize and kept being nasty until I snapped back and called her rude and nasty. I’m confused on where the professionalism was the entire interaction. I had a hypertension crisis, which landed me in the hospital so stress and tension are two things that I do not need. I will definitely contact corporate and whomever else I need to because she doesn’t need to be working...
Read moreThank you Walgreens for reminding me why you are not my family's got to pharmacy. I just get out of the ER and getting a CT scan at a local hospital. I finally get out of the hospital at 3:40am and arrived at the pharmacy almost 4am on the dot. The pharmacist told me it would be 30 minutes. I said "ok". She then said I couldn't wait in the drive thru because she had several others to fill. I was in so much pain I couldn't really talk so I pulled into a parking spot facing the drive thru and set my alarm to 30 minutes. I never saw another vehicle pull into the drive thru but, I still waited. When my time was up I pulled back in and when she got to the window she acted she hasn't ever seen me before. I looked on the time she filled it and it was within 7 minutes of me handing her the script. So sad at the customer service at these chains. They just don't care because they feel that they don't have too. They corner the market and think you have to buy from them eventually. I strongly suggest to everyone to spend your money with people that care for your business. No smile on there faces it almost like Walgreens is like a McDonald's or Burger King style drive thru, the thing is the fast food places like that pay the lowest of wages. We are talking about a pharmacist. That maybe a reason she works so late at night so she can't run as many customers off on a daily bases. So sad that customer service is a lost art. It also shows why they only have a 2.8 rating. I give them a one because she didn't lie about me getting it in 30 minutes. She lied about the rest and making me wait when I was in so much pain is...
Read moreI requested refill online , got message through email it was received. I went to pick it up through drive thru, 12-14-23, I thought this would be a quick trip, get to my turn finally at drive through and was told it was not in the system, they dont know what happen but I had to come back-waisted lunch break. Go back the next day 12/15/23, I see no cars in drive thru and I hurried inside no one at the counter but me I was so elated and said to myself, I am lucky-this rarely happens, I go up to the counter. I'm waiting and waiting, everyone is doing there on thing. So I lay my keys down on the counter hoping I get someone attention, few mins later someone says, "someone will be right with you.: I am waiting, and waiting no help...5-7mins go by, nothing. Keep in mind I am the only customer in pharmacy.. Finally the lady says who is working the front. Another lady says I will get it but I am going on to lunch, she then have me wait another 3mins before she checks me out. I ask for my meds and asked ma'am is this vitamin e buy one get one free, she says I dont know if its not a sign out there, I said it said so online, she says well you may have to take it up front. First of all the product is in the pharmacy can you not do a price check? or is that asking alittle bit to much. I would hate for you to miss your lunch break because I surely missed mine... Oh and after I gave her the side eye, she scan the vitamin e and of course it was buy one get one free....smh...GET IT...
