Enjoyed our impromptu, first visit to Olympia, Washington’s capital on Friday this month. The Capitol and surrounding area were beautiful and well kept. The outside and inside of the Capitol were impressive especially the architecture. It is worth walking outside to view the Memorial and the garden as well as going inside for a free tour. It wasn’t busy. We saw the House of Representative door.

Kann man recht unkompliziert besichtigen und durch die Gänge schlendern. Geführte Touren gibt es auch, dabei kommt man noch in weitere Räumlichkeiten, die einem sonst verschlossen bleiben.
