So good! So fresh! Vegan friendly and super cute and eclectic atmosphere. We just happened to walk in after playing at the splash pad next door because we were so thirsty. I was pleasantly surprised by the large menu of fresh dishes and so many vegan options. Everything we ordered was very flavorful and filling. I got the half order of hummus to share and vegan lentil curry and my eyes popped out of my head when I saw how big, bright, and beautiful the plates were. The curry was absolutely perfectly done. The watermelon lemonade was very refreshing after playing hard outside. And don't skip the dairy free vegan chocolate chip cookies! Omg I almost didn't want to share! They were so big and chewy we bought more to take home. There is a calendar of live music events and toys for the kids to play with on the stage while you wait for your food. I had a great experience and the staff was very friendly. Next visit I will be coming back for more.

This folksy store reminds me a lot of my time in Santa Fe, and I mean that as the highest compliment possible. It feels like a wonderland of handicrafts, all from different corners of the world but all made with a sense of care and artistry, combining individual creativity with a grounding in the history and culture of a particular community, a particular history with a particular series of techniques. I told the garrulous gal at the front that it felt like a colorful dream, and she smiled: it really does. Everything feels so whimsical, crafted with a sense of specificity and individual agency instead of the cheap, disposable products of a consumerist society that are everywhere these days. This is a very special space.

A local favourite in Olympia! This establishment is about community, local and global. The products sold here are fair trade, Direct Trade, the coffee is of the same caliber. The food is as organic (as often as possible) and locally sourced when available.

This place doesn't have Wi-Fi, but that's on purpose, Traditions strives to create a welcoming atmosphere where face to face, direct communication, openness, and community outreach converge.

This is not just a "cafe" it is host to musical events, community gatherings, even working with local and global outreach in areas of environmental and social justice.

Grab a delicious meal, a warm beverage, and be prepared for education and edification!

This is one of my go to spots for food, conversation, and a plethora of educational events that are sometimes in sponsorship of faculty from the Evergreen State College, and other local, regional, and international organizations!

This place is LGBTQ friendly, disability friendly, a hate free...

The food was wonderful. They whip they're own cream and use fresh, local eggs. They serve soups, sandwiches (cold and paninis), and various entrees like black bean enchilada, quiches, lasagna... They have some baked goods and a wide selection of drinks from herbal teas to Italian sodas. All super yummy and reasonably priced. The cafe itself was cute, comfortable, and quiet. They have a lending library (about fair trade topics) and a small play area for kids (blocks, etc). From the cafe side you can wander into the store side where there's fairly good quality and attractive fair trade products. Woven headbands, reed baskets, cooperative board games, wooden blocks and figures, recycled paper journals and cards, rubber tire purses, etc. The owner is sweet and friendly. Paid street parking only. Shouldn't be TOO hard to find. We went at 1 on a Wed and found parking right away. All in...
