Jos A. Bank — Local services in Omaha

I ordered a replacement pair of pants from this location for a very important banquet. Being only two weeks away from the event at the timeout my visit, I informed the staff that I only wanted to order the pants if they would be ready in time for the event. An elder, balding gentleman with glasses (I think his name was Rob or Bob) assured me that they would be done in time. I should have known that I could not trust or work with this gentleman due to his rude service and stand-off disposition. I was followed and seemingly rushed through the store (this can also be attested to by a family member that was with me at the time.) When I came to the store the day before the banquet, the same elder gentleman acted as if he did not inform me that the pants would be done in time. Needless to say, I was lied to and my pants were not done in time for the event. Furthermore, after witnessing (Rob’s or Bob’s) interactions with other customers during my few trips into the store (to place the order, get tailored, retrieve pants), it appears as if he reserves and directs his piss poor service for...

I am amending my initial review, actually I am deleting it. I originally gave them 4 stars. I "thought" the sales people were great, but that it took too long for the custom suit to arrive. We had some custom shirts made after the suit and they came in in a timely fashion though. I have since found out that the sales people were great because they were eager to make the sale. Service after the sale is non-existent. Repeatedly, we have asked for a pocket square to go with the custom suit that we had made, and repeatedly they had excuse after excuse for not being able to get it, What?!, never returned a phone call to tell us that, we have always had to check to find out what was going on. Every time I've been in that store following up, there has been other clients complaining about this or that as far as a purchase that they had made, so apparently we are not...

Jos. A Banks in Village Pointe is hands down my favorite store. The premade suits are top notch, there is a wide variety to meet the needs of anyone who needs a suit. If you need a suit but don't want to pay a lot they have you covered, if money is not a concern they have you covered. Naturally quality does vary with the price be that as it may you receive quality regardless of the price. Better yet are the custom tailor made suits, the tailor does fabulous work. I've purchased a lot from them from suits, dress shirts, ties, shoes scarves, fedora hats and ear muffs... All great quality. The best part is the staff, they make everything happen and they personable. Thank you to all the staff who really goes the distance to assist me when I'm in the store.
