We purchased tickets over a month ago to see Chayce Beckham tonight, May 21 on Chayce Beckham 's web site. All that was offered were $30 tickets general admission. We live in Colorado Springs and have never been to Omaha and were excited about seeing the city and this venue. We tried numerous times to call Barnado and all you can do is leave a message. No one bothered to call us back. We saw there were tables on Barnato's web site and had no idea if general admission allowed us to sit at a table. We kept calling to try and get more information on the establishment and could only leave a message for someone to call us back. About a week ago, a weeke before toe concert, we received an email from ticketweb where we purchased the tickets off Chayce Beckham's web site that a local performer was added to the show and make sure to arrive early. We knew the doors opened at 6 and Chayce was to perform at 8 so we weren't sure what "arrive early" meant. So, we called again. Did anyone return our call?? No. Then we saw from ticketweb that our tickets were for general admission standing room only and that we could have purchased tickets for a table but they were sold out. Ticketweb advised that we could cancel our tickets and get a full refund since the performance schedule had changed. We followed their instructions to the tee and sent them an email for acknowledgement. Did they respond? No. We hope we get our money back and probably will never come to Omaha or ever visit Barnato because of this experience. I'm sure...
Read moreLast night I had some friends meet me at Barnatos for my birthday. The last time I came was around Halloween and I really enjoyed myself. The whole ambiance of the place was amazing and the pork belly fries were a hit. I literally couldn’t stop talking about this place. So of course my friends now wanted the same experience. Last night sadly it was a completely different vibe. The server we had was very rude to us. She made us wait for a long period of time to even take our drink orders and then left the drinks at the bar and another gentleman stepped in and brought them over to us. Almost every food item we tried to order she said it was out. We were able to get cauliflower and chicken which was very tasty. However we had to ask for silverware to even eat it and the lady threw it on the table. My friend had her boyfriend come along and she the waiter rudely demanded a card on file. He handed her his card but was not expecting to have to pay for everyone’s drinks. She didn’t even ask but just charged his card. Anytime we had a question she seemed bothered and just flat out rude. When other guest arrived she didn’t even acknowledge them. Due to this experience my friends and I are hesitant to try it out again. I get that we all have bad days, but that is definitely not how you treat people who are simply just trying to enjoy themselves and not being disrespectful to you. Thanks for ruining...
Read moreThe holiday bar speakeasy was TERRIBLE. The host told us we weren’t allowed to sit in a corner because it was meant for bigger parties, he honestly just didn’t like us because he let two other girls sit there. We are bigger woman. So what obviously that had a lot to do with it since the other couple was more petite. I will say the barnato bar was nice and the bartenders took great care of us after the other man from the speakeasy couldn’t and wouldn’t. So thank you to the lovely bartenders of Barnato!
Y’all had replied and I honestly felt even more disrespected than when I went in. I was so excited actually to come to this that my friend and I arrived early, yes there was nothing on the drink menu I truly like which was fine. After we moved to a different table, which was a 4 top instead of 2. I’ve been in the service industry for 10+ years. Hosting as well. So I understand completely. He was rude when he came up to the table and was rude when he came back up to me after I left the christmas area. I had a wonderful time at the bar itself where the Christmas festivities weren’t going on. Right after we moved to the bar, the host then proceeded to sit a 2 top at that same table we had moved to. If that’s how you speak to your customers gosh I’m surprised you’re still allowed to reply. I actually would like a...
