For a $40 + tip Haircut and Beard Trim, I would have been better off going to Great Clips. After waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time, Shawn called me back to his chair and asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted a faded undercut but wanted the top to stay long (8") to put in a bun. He told me to put up any hair that I wanted to keep and offered me a comb and a hair tie. I am not a barber nor hair dresser and assumed that Shawn would take my work as a guideline, not a rule, and would fix my parts to clean me up. He did not. When he handed me the mirror 20 minutes later, I realized that he had stopped the fade about an inch lower on the right side compared to the left and asked him to fix it. Shawn took his time, re-parted my hair, and lined the right side up nicely. I left happy then looked in the mirror when I got home. There are half buzzed bits all around the back and left side of my head; places where I put my hair up and it was not re-parted. There are also weird 3-4 inch fly-aways around the back and right side that had apparently been caught in the clippers that I now cannot put up into the bun. The part in the back is so uneven you'd brake an axel trying to drive on it. I looked closer at my moustache and realized the left side of my moustache was now about 2/3rds the width of the right side and about half an inch shorter. I use to like coming here, but last 2 times I came in, I got skipped over and over again. Last time I actually got my hair cut from Lavar, he butchered my hair. Said I wanted a mid fade but do not touch the top as I'm growing it out. I feel like they don't like cutting white hair. Big fat dude up front never acknowledged me. There is not real order system as to how you get a hair cut other then, point and nod at the barber. Kids and friends get to skip everyone. While people like me who tip very well are the one getting skipped. The service of the place has gone down hill, which sucks. I liked coming here,...

i told the barber KT that i wanted a little off the top and a fade on the sides and he talked to me for 15 minutes to make sure he knew exactly what i wanted. Then proceeds to bring my fade all the way up the side of my head onto the top. Now i have it 3 inches long on top and a straight buzz cut on the sides to make it look like i just have a whip cream top with absolutely no blending into the fade. The whole time he was telling me “you look good bro this is probably the best cut you’ve ever got”...
