The store manager, Michael, made an inappropriate, sexist comment to me when I requested that he put a piece of furniture in my car that he claimed would not fit, even before seeing my car or attempting to put it in. He said to me and another female with me that "They just needed a man to tell them it wouldn't fit". This was after he slammed my purchased mirrored console down several times over the cement to get it into my car. I proceeded to tell him I did not appreciate his attitude or his sexist comments about me being a female, and he replied that he said that comment to his associate with him, and proceeded argue with me and to tell me that he just knew it wouldn't fit. He did not apologize and was rude from the second I walked into the store, to the second I walked out without my furniture or an apology. I would not go to this Kirkland's under his management. Read moreThis was my first time in this Kirkland’s location. I was making a Return from my gift I received. The receipt was not given to me, so I was making a return with no receipt. Initially, it was a younger gal that was assisting me, but she must’ve had to go get a manager to do this cause I didn’t have my receipt. The lady that came back up with her was rude from the get-go! First thing she said to me was where’s your receipt?! Again, I repeated I didn’t have my receipt. Rudely and condescendingly She said we don’t do returns with no receipts, She hesitated and had the look of rolling your eyes on her face without actually rolling her eyes, And said, but I’ll go ahead and do it this one time and one time only! Read more1 star only bc of one of the managers named Tim at the Omaha Ne store. He was extremely rude bc something I returned broke after using it 3x & only had it for 1 week. I wanted 2 exchange it & he wasn’t going 2 let until I insisted. He then had the audacity 2 tell me I better not try 2 exchange or return the new one. I was appalled at his behavior. I emailed the corporate office & they replied back saying the District Manager would contact me. He called twice but I was at work & missed his calls. I called him back 2x & never heard from him again. I was told by several of his employees that he is rude & customers complain about him all the time but the District Manager & the Corporate office won’t do anything about it.
