Here is a really fun Theatre that one time I thought was going to fold. Marcus took over this Theatre and has really changed it over in the last few years. They've totally revamped it inside and outside.
Inside our new seats carpeting everything there is even a baby grand piano in the lobby. Self-serve drink station so you can put as much ice and your soda pop as you want. If you are a member of their frequent theater goers membership you can get a free refill on your drink. You also get a free small popcorn on Tuesdays with your moviegoer card.
Tuesdays are great did it go Marcus Theaters chain. At the time of this writing, they have movies all day Tuesdays for $5. 3D movies rxtra.
All the screens use digital projections. The sound quality is first-rate. They are offering seats that are large plush, and comfortable. It's like having a motorized Lazy Boy recliner in your living room that just happens to have a giant screen.
Some of the theater screens are set up as dining options. They have servers bring you food and drinks right to your seat. You can order a beer wine or a mixed drink as well as soda pop. Typical bar type food. Plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, Pizza, and pretzels. Hot dogs are good. The hamburgers are actually very good. I like their Smashburger. I think they're a little skimpy they're serving of french fries, but I'm a glutton.
Marcus Theater chains have been first-rate and I really enjoy going to them. With the new parking lots you can actually get in and out without fear that your car is going to fall into a giant hole in the blacktop. Marcus has done a great job of revamping this theater and has brought new life...
Read moreThis place was a disgrace. My wife and I went to see The Dark Crystal at one of the only 4 showings in Omaha. We discovered that drinks and food were allowed in the theatre (which is nice) but since it wasn't one of the 'bistro' theatres, that we would have to retrieve our own orders. Not only that, but the person that entered our food order had apparently fat-fingered the buzzer number. I don't even know how that happens since she had told me our number was 41 (buzzer - with proof provided by the buzzer that I still had in my hand) but it turned out to be 31 (cold food). I had to go chase down our food order 30 minutes into the movie because it was obviously taking a while. Of course, by then, it was too late. The food was cold. The food was sitting in the kitchen for at least 15 minutes and the kitchen did nothing (I was a cook for 5 years and I know that after 2 minutes, you get someone on it).
I had to go to the ticket counter twice because:
Where was literally ANY one ANY where other than the ticket counter?
This was our first time at this location and I will never go to this theatre again. I missed a quarter of this special showing of this movie because of their multiple failures.
The only reason for the 1 star is because Google Reviews does not allow posts of zero stars. This place was a complete...
Read moreThis used to be the best theater in Omaha but I spent almost 80 dollars for my girlfriend and I to have a date there which was ridiculous not for the price of the date but for the experience. The place was filthy the floor was sticky with old popcorn all over. The pop machine was out of two different kinds of pop and had tacky hand written signs taped to them saying out of order and the machines were gross. Pop was everywhere and everything was sticky. The seats in the lobby are very beat up and the bathrooms still look like they did when the theater was 20 grand. On top of the lack of cleanliness, the over all employee interaction with customers was poor. Of the excessive amount of employees wondering around aimlessly doing nothing there were only two that had any customer service skills. (the lady at the registers when we bought our tickets and the lady at the concession stand-cashier#9221 at stand 183) Sadly I can not find the receipt for the tickets to give the lady credit for her customer survice at the ticket stand. They were both very polite and helpful. This all being said, minus the comfortable seats, I liked this theater much more when it was 20 grand because the prices were not so outrageous and the customer service was much better. Employees used to ask how your movie was when you came out of the theater and go out of their way to interact with customers instead they stand with blank looks on their faces and their heads down deliberately trying to avoid interaction...
