Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Omaha

As someone who was so excited to have an Ollie's coming after visiting several of them in Ohio, this doesn't feel like the Ollie's experience. It could be because they just opened, but it feels like most of the space is already taken up but hardly feels to have the quantity of merch their stores have elsewhere. One section in particular, their graphic novel section. In Ohio, there are shelves upon shelves upon shelves of graphic novels. There is like 3 shelves confined to one small space in this one. I went to this store at 6pm on a Saturday evening. The shelves were pretty empty, lots of shoppers were there but i didn't see anything that got my attention. The prices were not much lower than a Walmart. Odd lot store feeling without the organization. The ad showed a huge shipment of fans, i did not find any. I picked up a few books for grandkids, got in line, behind 15 other carts while i waited for the single cashier. After 10 minutes, i abandoned my cart and left. Great staff and awesome deals! I would say it is similar to the old Big Lots but with some better deals. When comparing to retail prices you're looking at saving at least 50% on many products. This may not be the case for a lot of the food and candy items but you are still saving compared to grocery stores. Not a bad place to check out! They have military discounts but ONLY the first Tuesday of the month, not sure how much savings. Other than that they have a good loyalty program....
