I had an email quote for $240 for a new windshield. No mention of other fees/taxes etc. if paid in cash. I dropped the vehicle off Thursday evening. The windshield was to be replaced Friday. We went to pick up the vehicle on Friday after an incredibly rude phone call from one of the guys that works there. I was having issues finding a ride to pick up before they closed. He got pissed off and said he didn't have the space to keep it, if I had seen his lot I would know that. Well sir, I saw the lot when I dropped it off and it was empty and plenty of space. However, they tried to charge me $282.48. There were extra fees on there. They claimed that they called myself and my friend and discussed these fees.... Sadly they never called either one of us. That is $42 more than what was planned. I had also specifically asked in the email if they would remount the rearview mirror when replaced the windshield. The response was yes. However, they did not. After putting up a fuss they did not charge the extra fee for additional parts. If they had called me, I would of paid it. Total they wanted $260 which was still more than the email quote. They got paid $250 cash, that's what I had since I was told $240. I will not recommend them to anyone in the future. Mostly due to the rude encounter with the staff on the phone and during the check out process. I am aware that parts cost money, and more than happy to pay for what is necessary for the part to be replaced properly if I have communication first. Customer service is big. Treat your customer like you would treat...
Read moreLOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER! We've had four or five vehicles tinted by them, from SUV's to sports cars, as well as two remote start systems. The actual work they do is great, but they charge whatever they feel like that day, and their customer service/interaction is spotty at best (as noted in other reviews). Called to get a quote on two side windows on a convertible and they wanted $400!!!! I had a car done by them a couple of years ago that had two side windows, two small back seat windows and a curved back window and they charged $186 for that entire job, with over twice the windows of the convertible. When I mentioned the price increase on the phone, and that I was a repeat customer, they couldn't care less. They just said to call when I wanted to book an appointment. We have no plans to stop collecting cars, so someone else will be getting our money from here on out. Beware of their "fluid" pricing based on how much they think they can get out of you, and do some shopping around. Booked the vehicle in question at another shop for $125 plus tax, with the same lifetime warranty on the tint.
Addendum: Their response sums up their business philosophy better than I could; "If you don't want to be ripped off, you have to ASK not to be ripped off". I should have listened to my gut after I watched two employees argue over what they should charge me for the last remote starter you installed. Thanks for the response proving all the bad customer service reviews. Gave us a...
Read moreSo unfortunately I had a side window in my Honda CR-V get broken late Friday Night, it was still cold outside and I needed a window Saturday morning. I found this place on Google and they could get me in. At first it seemed like a decent place, a lot of employees, decent waiting room. After I got my car back I noticed a rattle when ever I shut my door, I figured it’s probably just some left over glass no big deal. The rattling continues for months but the window works so I don’t mind. The other thing I noticed after getting it back was there was a lot of cold air coming in through the door handle. At that point I thought they probably forgot to put the vapor barrier back all the way no big deal. After several months with increased road noise, air coming in the handle and a rattle that sounded like the window was going to fall out it did. My wife went to roll down the window and bam, now I am mechanically inclined and decided to take a look, sure enough a bolt fell out of the track. Obviously didn’t get tightened when they installed the window. Then I notice whoever did the installation just tore all of my factory vapor barrier away. The window coming off the track caused substantial damage to the track itself which will need to be replaced and I guess I’ll have to go to the dealership and see if they can get me a new vapor barrier. I would never recommend this place as my $109 window will likely cost me $400 when it’s all...
