this will be long: bought a ticket in the daytime decided to stay for the adult night. wasn't much info on the site so me and my friend kept asking life guards for information- each time we were told something false. we asked about me bringing my own floatie in which we were told no yet watched a girl walk in with one. called out the staff they had no answers. as the adult night started we were asked for our ID but we said we were still debating on getting in the pool area because it was clearly over capacity. we asked a lifeguard if the lazy pool would still be open we were told no. then we saw people getting in so we decided to get back in. not even 10 minutes later a security guard aggressively approached us and yelled for us to get out of the pool and come with him. I tell him he does not have to talk to me like im a child which he ignores everything and continues to yell at us. we get to the front area where I approach "head of security" who eventually yells at us about not having a wristband. we were never informed about one, there are no signs nor mention of this on their website. we are both almost 30 - presenting ID for this was no issue. we were approached by an under aged girl who said a relative was buying her drinks and she didn't have a wristband. we ask "head of security " for a corporate number which he denies giving to us and says he's the boss" then proceeds to pont to another man and say he's his boss and he won't care about our complaint because the security didn't physically touch us. he eventually starts getting loud and tells us to get out and we literally did nothing wrong. while standing at our cars multiple people approach us saying they saw the ordeal and entered without a wristband. we were also told that fun plex has an issue with black people and aren't afraid to make it known. I've never been treated so badly for...
Read moreWent to Fun Plex today and was very disappointed. To begin with the staff hassled us at the entrance because we had water and formula in our diaper bag for our baby... They literally wanted me to dump out her ready made bottle to bring it in empty... After searching all of our bags/purses... Later my husband went to take our 11 month old on the carousel and was told she couldnt ride because she doesnt have shoes on... Even though she doesnt walk on her own and was being carried and held... My husband then went with our other children to ride the roller coaster, and while waiting in line, and the coaster went around the upper bend... A giant bolt came off and fell to the ground in front of around 30 people... and the ride was never stopped to investigate where it came from... Take about a "Final Destination" moment...Then While I was sitting with the baby waiting for my family, I noticed that the safety railing was unbolted on one corner and every time someone would walk up or down the staircase, it would shake... I even took pictures of where the wood had rotted away and the bolt was exposed... Then, someones child had been hurt and had a bloody nose, and the First Aid booth had her tip her head back... Anyone with ANY first Aid training knows that is a no no... I also purchased a soft pretzel which was still cold inside...We also noticed that they added new cabana rentals... We were shocked to see that to rent a cabana for the day, they were charging $125... Its not even that much in Vegas, and you have your own personal waitress there! We wont be going back... They are more concerned with how much money they can rake in, than with safety and comfort of...
Read moreI brought a 16 year old special needs Respite Client on a Hot Sunday afternoon 8/25. My client had been to your water park 2 weeks prior with her Mom. My client only enjoys the water bucket dump station. We were at that same area the entire time of our visit. My client only likes the smaller cone shaped buckets dumping. As I need to be present with my client at all times, I stood in her area the entire time. In a moment when I didn't realize the extremely large bucket of water was dumping, it dumped directly on the crown of my head. I immediately felt pain in my head and neck. The top of my head was sore for several days. And as time lapsed that day my lower back begin to hurt. I then became aware not to stand anywhere close to the big bucket and finished our day. While I was standing and engaging with my client, an approximately 8 year old girl came out from under the Enormous Bucket, holding her head and crying that her head hurt. Since that day I have dealt with pain in my head, neck and back. And over all I have not felt good.
How much compression pressure does that Enormous Bucket cause? Is it rated? I hope no one else experiences these same injuries. Poor little girl, too. I hope she feels better then me.
Also, did I miss where your dressing/changing rooms were? 2 of us in a bathroom stall to change was very challenging! Your bathroom floors were very wet a slippery too. I had to help support my client when walking through your bathrooms on very wet slippery floors. Hope to return next year with my client being better informed as to your...
