The Wharf Store — Local services in Orange Beach

My husband loves their Tshirts and he purchases several of them at a time when we visit the wharf (we live in Orange Beach 4 nights out of the wk). The last time we were there he purchased at least 3. He put them on the counter and the lady that works the counter has checked us out several times. She is always polite. My husband asked her to make sure they were all larges that he placed on counter. We had several cold spells after that purchase so he hadn’t had a chance to wear them. When he goes to put his shirt on he realizes it’s a xxl. When we go to exchange the shirt the lady pulls up receipt by our cc # and said that we can’t exchange due to the 30 day exchange policy which we were apparently a few days over. We asked to speak to the manager and was informed she was on vacation and she would call my husband. She did call him and said there was no tag on the shirt lies….my husband still had the xxl sticker on it. She also claimed it smelled like cologne. Maybe it did but that could only be because it was in our home and I’m sure if had that scent on it. All he wanted was an exchange! It’s just a Tshirt. Not like it was a vehicle or not as if they couldn’t resell the shirt! Horrible customer service especially since we purchased shirts...

If I could give this store zero stars I would. My husband and I came into the store and were looked up and down and hardly greeted by I suppose what seemed to be some type of associate. After shopping around the store I told my husband that I don't feel comfortable making a purchase from a store where we felt so unwelcome. After deciding to leave the previous rude female associate with blond hair and some old man that worked there stood side by side at the register staring my husband and I down with scowling looks until we left the store. So disappointing considering this is spring break week and it is their job to welcome paying customers. Best store in the Wharf truly, I love it!! They have so many options and colors of accessories, shirts, sweatshirts, and other items for everyone in your family. I've bought several shirts and sweatshirts, they are great quality and I wear them constantly. I seriously want one of everything, every time I go in. Additionally, the workers and store itself are awesome, they are always so polite and help me find what I need when I come down to OB.
