Sit 'n Sleep — Local services in Orange

My husband & I went mattress shopping finally on Labor day 2022. Our plan was to go to at least 2 local 'family owned' businesses that we had pre-chosen to support. This was our 1st experience at purchasing a mattress together. We started at Sit-n-Sleep on Tustin Avenue in Orange since we had heard their family advertising for many years. My husband had looked some mattress brands /styles up online that might best suit our size and weight needs. We were greeted by Diane Richard's, sleep consultant, when we entered the store. She was helping another family but sort of bounced back and forth to us to answer any questions we had and steer us in the right direction to find what we wanted. This was perfect salesperson approach in my mind . . She was super friendly, gave us the info we needed or wanted, then gave us some alone time to discuss our options as a couple. The sale price tags and info about the mattresses were available to view on each bed. We had narrowed it down to a couple of choices already when the store manager, Chad Mott, came over to offer his insight on the 2 mattresses we were looking at. He explained in depth about how much mattresses had evolved in quality over the past 20 yrs etc since our previous coil w/double sided pillow top mattress had been purchased in 2005 ! We made a final decision on a Cal King size King Koil Redwood Medium density mattress and it was delivered a few days later. Chad painlessly walked us through the sale details and got us quickly financed through Synchrony Bank while we sat at his desk in the showroom. Diane came back by to congratulate us on our choice of mattress. I really wish every large purchase we make could be this easy ! During our conversation with Chad, he told us that, after many years with Sit and Sleep, his family was moving to TX and we managed to meet him on his last day there. We wish Chad all the best in his future endeavors. Glad we had the chance to meet Chad . . And Diane, we will definitely be calling on you to help us for future purchases. We will definitely refer our friends to your location !...

Exceptional Service from Erick and Dave!

We recently purchased a new bed for my parents, who are in their late 70s, and had the pleasure of working with Erick at Sit 'n Sleep. Erick was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful throughout the process. He took the time to understand my parents' unique needs and helped us find the perfect option to support their comfort and health. Knowing that my parents are often anxious about shopping on their own, it was a huge relief to have someone who made them feel heard and at ease. Erick truly went above and beyond to make the experience positive for all of us.

Unfortunately, the mattress and adjustable bed frame delivered were too wide for the space. I received a panicked call from my parents the moment the delivery arrived, and I immediately reached out to the store. Though Erick was off that day, we were fortunate to be connected with Dave ... and what a lifesaver he was!

Dave immediately took ownership of the situation with calm, professionalism, and genuine care. He reassured me, asked thoughtful questions to better understand the issue, and swiftly made arrangements to resolve everything. Not only did he coordinate the return seamlessly, but he also scheduled a new delivery for the very next day! Dave kept me informed with timely updates and made sure we felt completely taken care of throughout the process.

In an age where online shopping is convenient but often impersonal, the exceptional customer service we received from Erick and especially Dave is exactly what keeps us coming back to brick-and-mortar businesses like Sit 'n Sleep. They both demonstrated a level of care, attention, and dedication that exceeded all expectations. We're so very grateful and lifelong customers because of it!...

What a great experience we had with Diane at the Orange Sit 'n' Sleep. We'd shopped the nearby competition prior to arriving there and were seriously impressed with her knowledge and the transparency of the entire transaction. We'd actually been told by their competitor that they couldn't give us a business card because they didn't believe in them and they wouldn't commit to the quote they gave us verbally by writing it down. Diane, not only gave us a written quote, she included other options available through the store. No hard sell -- just tons of information. When I went back to the competitor to take one last look, they told me that if I couldn't make up my mind based on what I liked, then I should look at the negatives and compare those. I did just that -- and my business went to Sit 'n' Sleep, the company with the fabulous customer service and great prices.

UPDATE: I sure wish they had something more than 5-stars. This company has their act together! I was told that we would get a phone call sometime after 6:00 pm and an email message the evening before our scheduled delivery to give us a 3-hour window. By 6:15 that evening I had all the information from both sources. Our window was 11:30-2:30 the next day. At 9:15 that morning I received a confirming call that our mattress would be arriving in "2 hours and 30 minutes." At 11:27, the truck arrived and 15 minutes later the old bed (including the frame) was removed, the new bed was set up, and they were on their way to the next stop. The guys were pleasant, professional, and fast!
