This is the place to go! Ernie, Brendon Steve and all the T.R.B. employees are great. I can’t say enough kind words to describe this experience. If you are serious about your weapons and your second amendment rights, T.R.B. and its courses are where you want to be.
I was nervous about taking a Concealed Weapon training course just because I had no idea what to expect. I imagined all of the horrible scenarios, Military personnel or police officers screaming and yelling in your face etc. You get the idea.
I was so wrong, to say the least. This class was so much fun that I wish it lasted a week! One thing you will quickly realize in this class that it is all about safety first. You will also quickly see why I am saying I wish I could have spent a week with these guys. If you are going for your CCW there is so much to consider and understand that it's hard to get all the information and digest it in such a short amount of time. The good news is you will be able to ask questions and even voice your opinions. This turns into a full class discussion which I found to be extremely helpful. Its always a good thing to hear how other people think, it could save your life!
Then there is the day on the range! Your adrenaline will be pumping, you’ll be nervous and excited all at the same time. The good news is that you have nothing to worry about. Safety is top priority and the T.R.B. staff is paying close attention to you. That alone will put you at ease.
The drills and discussions you will be having on the range are so much fun. You’re not going to want to leave.
I heard there were other companies offering classes like this for a shorter time in the classroom. If you’re serious about this you will not sell yourself short by taking a lessor course. Do yourself a favor and take all of this seriously. T.R.B. will give you the training you need to keep yourself out of jail and even more importantly, how to not get killed by another person with a CCW.
I have been training with weapons for decades. Im from a military family and trained with a S.W.A.T. instructor for a short period of time and I PROMISE you that you will learn from T.R.B. Ernie and his employees truly love what they do, so listen closely when they...
Read moreRight. I took the CCW course a few weeks ago, and I am glad that I did. I consider myself an old dog that was learning new tricks. Military background notwithstanding, there is much to learn and RE-learn about firearm fundamentals in a CIVILIAN setting! Things change regarding legalities in "Kalifornia" and TRB is the place to learn! This was my first time visiting this center, but I absolutely HAVE to go back! This range, combined with the training available via the USCCA are making it very difficult to just... slack off and forget everything that I have ALREADY learned!! I just wish I had more time, but I will have to FIND the time! Ernie, Brendan, and Stephen are the guys that I want to continue to train with. Their skillset left me a bit embarrassed compared to what I learned so many years ago, but this is a GOOD thing, yes? It lets me know that there is no arrogance to be had, as THEY are the trainers, and I am the student! Period! I like that. They have much to teach, as training is always evolving, so this, combined with the California laws as well as Federal law, make for a program that I need to absorb so that I can reach a level of confidence to match my firearm skill and proficiency needed to be the proud owner (holder) of a California-issued CCW (which is the current mission), and hold it with PRIDE... and continue with any and all training that TRB cares to...
Read moreI recently completed the CCW training course with Tap Rack Bang, based in Stanton, California, where they partner with FTP Tactical for their instructional sessions. This course was an incredibly informative and enjoyable experience. Although the days were long due to the extensive content covered, I was consistently engaged and retained a wealth of knowledge about concealed carry.
Brian, our main instructor and a former USMC, has an exceptional ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively, making it approachable for all students. As someone who occasionally struggles with information retention, I genuinely appreciated his patient guidance throughout the course. Kevin, the proctor assistant and also a former USMC, was another invaluable asset, enhancing our learning environment with his insights and support.
I am so thankful for the comprehensive training provided by Brian, Kevin, and the entire Tap Rack Bang team. Their dedication to educating students on responsible firearm ownership and concealed carry is evident. If you're looking for top-notch CCW training in California, I highly recommend Tap Rack Bang. This course is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aiming to improve their firearms proficiency and...
