Lovely Lash and Nails Orem — Local services in Orem

I really wanted this place to be our new go to nail salon. But after this visit probably not. We drove from Santaquin to Orem. Not super far but still a 30 minute drive for us. Our first visit was really great. As to why we came back for a second time. The first time we noticed people where getting their manicure and pedicures at the same time. I really want my nails done but did not know that they offered that service. We just came for the first time and didn't have an appointment. Today we came prepared. Set appointments. Selected what we wanted online. Well, my daughter got both of hers done at the same time. I kept thinking at any point someone was going to come do mine. But they didn't. Felt like it was forgotten. Like I was forgotten. Other people came in after us and got there's done and still at the end of my pedicure and my daughter's manicure and pedicure the technician over heard us talking about my manicure being forgotten. Then I was asked if I wanted it done. This was after an hour of being there. My daughter was done and I didn't want her to have to sit and wait for me to get one done. So I left feeling upset. I set an appointment, I Selected both manicure and pedicure for both of us, and ended up paying $228 and still no manicure. Service the first time was great but they are expensive to say the least and everything is an additional charge. For $228 I should of gotten...

UPDATE: I was contacted to clear the issue up and asked to come back and I have to say my experience the second time around was great! I really appreciated that they reached out to fix the issue, and gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back again.

I didn't even get to have my pedicure done. My appointment was for 1 o clock. I sat and waited with my feet in the water for 30 minutes before I finally got up and left. Who knows how much longer it would've been until they got to me. I don't know why they told me to come in at 1 if they werent able to get to me until after 1:30. I'm generally a very understanding person. It even would've been different if they'd communicated upfront that they were behind and/or understaffed and I'd be waiting about 30 minutes. However, all I heard was "sit and relax and we'll be with you in a few minutes". After that I was completely ignored until I finally let them know I was leaving. I’m new to Orem area and I have been to two other nail salons prior to this one. My nails kept lifting though since i have curved nails. Andy reassured me that he could fix this for me. He did an amazing job removing the old nails and putting on new acrylics he had amazing attention to detail when it came to making the design exactly how I wanted. He was extremely patient with me picking our colors I told him that I liked sparkle and he brought me so many to decide from. I was so happy with my nails that I decided to get a pedicure too as Andy mentioned the first visit is 20% off every service. Lucy did an amazing job on the pedicure making sure the water was at the right temperature and letting me know what she was doing. The whole salon was very clean and decorated so pretty with hearts for there name Lovely Lash and Nails and bows for Christmas.
