If you are getting electronics DO NOT GET IT FROM THE STUDENT STORE!!! My father and I visited the student store to get a laptop for my classes. I picked out the MacBook Air 13 inch. My father went to pay and the system said it times out totally fine happens all the time so the girl helping us reset up the transaction and my father paid. The employee said that it didnât work because the system had an error. My dad checked his bank account to see if the money actually went through and it did. There was no pending payment the money had left my fatherâs account and he had a confirmed transaction. The employee said that the system just had an error and she didnât know why but it could not confirm payment. The problem was that the money had left my father account meaning he did pay for it and it was a confirmed payment. The employee got help from a manager and the manager went to get help because he didnât know what to do. No one could figure out why the system crashed but it did. They would not let us take the laptop even though my dad showed them the record showing that the money left his account. We left without the laptop and with $900 drained from my fatherâs bank account. We were assured that as soon as they figure out the system they will call us to come pick up the laptop. But im not one for just paying $900 and not getting the thing I paid for and just leaving the $900 and trusting that they will just call in 3-5 business days. I worked a lot of hours and just got of work at 4:38 pm in Provo and they close at 5pm, so I called ahead and asked what time they close and if they would mind staying open for just like one extra min so I could get my book because I was traveling as fast as I could. She simply says ânoâ... nothing else... notâ oh sorry we canât âor provide a solution to anything... then I say âok could I tell you the name of the book I need and someone could grab it for me and bring it to the frontâ... she just replies ânoâ... and I asked what can you do to help and she says âI dunnoâ that is truly pathetic customer service and they know it... donât be fooled by these fake 5 âď¸ Reviews above...
No body is willing to go beyond their measly job to help you. That is for sure not going to help them in the professional world...

   Read moreDisorganized with moronic policies and the staff who helped me had no concept of customer service. I bought a textbook online that cost $125 and was unavailable anywhere else. Turns out that my textbook wasn't required for my class so I went back to return it where I was informed that although the book was still in its packaging and I had an email invoice proving I bought it from them, unless I hung onto a random slip of paper tucked into the box they mailed it in, they wouldn't accept it. I was then informed that the textbook itself was only worth eighty cents (it was loose leaf) but it cost so much because it came with a MathLab access, which is non-transferable. So they basically told me they couldn't help me and I'd just have to sell a book that's now practically worthless. I'm out 125 bucks now because I didn't hang on to one specific piece of paper that they never even mentioned was important. The girl who helped me also said that this is a very common problem, which did not make me feel any better, since it's clearly something they know about but they don't have the common decency to so much as mention in the email that the paper they put in your package is important or necessary for a return.
