Older gentleman with glasses (wish I got his name) had a nasty attitude when I came in mentioning I was having my mail forwarded here until my change of address was kicked in. He looked at me like I was stupid, shaking his head when he asked for my ID and handing me my mail across the counter saying that's all you got. I said thanks so much and didn't even get a glance. Alright, thanks for the attitude, I guess. He was super nice to the woman next to me, though, so I guess I bothered him because I wanted my mail? Either way, lose the attitude. It's completely unnecessary.
Update: 1/8/24: I'd like to add ANOTHER employee decided to give me an attitude. I went in to send out Christmas cards and my kids' school pictures, and I'll be honest, I have never done it before. He impatiently told me what to do and felt the need to add, "It isn't rocket science." UM. EXCUSE ME? You may as well have called me stupid. I have horrific social anxiety as it is and get flustered easily. You all REALLY need to check up on your employees because they are so RUDE,...
Read morePlease NEVER come here for passport services. I cannot stress this enough. Staff is rude, condescending, and gives every excuse in the book to refuse help or complete the service. Note: i was by no means a belligerent customer, either. and I very VERY rarely give bad reviews. But it was that awful... wish i'd gotten the specific clerks name that I worked with.. but im really just hoping to spare someone else the trouble. Book your appointments elsewhere.
UPDATE: went very next day [set an apt online again], and HIGHLY recommend Rochester Hills Post Office for your passport needs! Not only were there far more people there at the same time as me to get their passport, but the staff at Rochester Hills handled a lady with young screaming children running around, business passport complications, couples, etc. with absolute kindness and speed. When I got to speak with her myself she was just as courteous. It is absolutely worth the extra 15 minute drive, and I really cannot speak highly of...
Read moreGo to Oxford if you can! I had a very expensive package loop for nearly a week, and James was very kind and helpful in informing me of my options. However, during his days off, I had to deal with Alandria, who is one of the most rude and unhelpful people I've ever come across. I can not believe she holds a supervisor title at this location, let alone at all. She immediately took attitude when I wasn't even finished explaining the situation. She was supposed to follow up with the issue and failed to do so, thus resulting in a further delay of my expensive item getting back to me, which I still don't have. I have no idea when I'm getting it back either... Every other employee I've dealt with in there has been kind, but this experience and interaction today was enough to never use this post office again. Somebody of such unpleasant and unhelpful nature should not hold a supervisor title, let alone work with the...
