First time there, Decent selection, some prices were average and some were way overpriced. I've always been very supportive of local skate shops and had never been to this particular shop eventhough they are only about 2 miles away from where i live. I needed some decks for the weekend so i went there at about 10am and stood outside for about 15 minutes before someone showed up eventhough the (hours said they open at 10). Finally got in the store and poked around to check the place out, the guy never once asked if i was looking for anything in particular or if i needed help or advice. I finally went and looked at decks, found some and asked about the shop deck. He basically just said yeah they are good. At this point I had a few decks picked and was going to grab grip tape and get out. I have been skating MOB for years and he informed me they didnt have MOB, only jessup and wasnt getting it free with the 160$ in decks i was buying. So 185$ with some decks that will probably last me 2 weeks and griptape that i don't really care for. Not that i would have had him do it, but he also didn't ask if I wanted him to grip the boards ( i do it myself anyway). All he said after i paid was "here ya go". I am someone who will usually go through about a deck a week and the only likely way i would ever go back is if im desperate for something that no...
Read moreI called the store a couple of days before the drop of the Yuto Horigome x Dunk Low SB Matcha and they told me they would drop the shoe the same day as the SNKRS app (April 5th) and would post a couple of days before on how you would be able to buy the shoe. Well it’s April 4th they just posted on their Instagram that the shoe would be sold first come first serve and so I called the store 2 minutes after the post was made to ask what day they would be doing this and they said the shoe was already sold out. How is this possible? And why would you post the DAY OF on the method the store would be selling the shoe, shouldn’t that be a couple days prior? Anyways because of them I missed the chance to buy the shoe for my nephew who really wanted a pair, I guess I’ll have to wait to see if it can get them on SNKRS. Don’t trust them they...
Read moreStaff is always friendly. The owner Ken has always been really nice every time I've seen him there. I remember growing up it was always intimidating going into a skate shop if you didn't know what you were doing, or didn't know the guys at the shop or on the team. I've NEVER had this feeling in this shop. Everyone is great, and while I don't skate as much anymore, when I need something, it is always a pleasure going here, chatting with the guys, catch a video, and pick up some goods. They have a large deck and shoe selection. And I've found that everything is very competitively priced. They also do tons of stuff for local kids, the skate scene, and the community, so if you need any skate goods, this is the...
