We came before going to the Science Center. The food was great, as usual. However, the customer service was TERRIBLE. I won’t ever be returning to this location again. There were two employees, Jade and Mariana. When first approaching the counter, I asked the cashier (Mariana) what was in the tuna salad. She told me “tuna salad, tomato and lettuce.” I then said no, what’s in the actual tuna salad, and instead of asking one of the prep staff or kitchen staff, she hands me a ten pound binder of all of their nutrition sheets. She flipped to the tuna salad and it didn’t tell me what was in it, it had a list as long as the page of all of the additives and preservatives and dyes. All I wanted to know is if it had onions in it.
She then started helping others and passed us off to Jade. It was three of us, and one of us ordered a large drink with our meal. A .99 cent pastry comes with the meals when you order a large drink, and she didn’t offer us one. The person who ordered a water cup on our bill was offered the pastry, and we asked about it and she tried charging us for TWO large drinks without letting us know. Once we solved that, I was putting my phone number in and forgot the phone number and she was getting so impatient with me and when we paid she just walked away, not “enjoy” or “thank you” or anything. We overlooked it. I asked if we were going to get a pager because there’s a big sign for pager return, and she said “I’ll let you know if your food is ready, you just need to wait” and walked away. At this point I was fuming. We were waiting for our order, and she called my name and I went to grab it, and only one of our three meals were up. She said “well are you going to take it?” And I said “it’s not all here, I’m waiting for the rest.” She gave such an attitude, I couldn’t believe it!
After all of this, my husband went up to get us cookies and when he went to pay for them she threw them across the counter at him and walked away.
It absolutely blew my mind the way she treated us, and I couldn’t find a manager anywhere. We’re young, and coming from somebody who spent six years in food service up until I got my degree, I’ve never experienced anything like this at a place like Panera Bread. Panera is up there with Chick fil a and Publix from a customer service standpoint, but this location was not up to standard whatsoever....
Read moreOn 9/12/17, at 5.30, I ordered autumn squash soup and arugula steak sandwich. After waiting for 15 minutes, I approached the counter and asked when my food will be ready. To my surprise, my food had been long waiting for me on the counter. The pager they gave me never beeped, and the staff seemed to be ok with keeping me wait all this time. The soup was as sweet as ice cream, and also it clearly contained a lot of modified corn starch or another thickening agent that people who watch their diet try to avoid. I decided not to eat this sugary starchy substance, and made a bite of the sandwich. The sandwich was made on simple factory sliced white bread for toasts that is sold in every supermarket. I couldn’t imagine the chain branding itself through breads would use this cheap bread for its $9 sandwich. In addition, it was not even toasted. All my food came cold though the menu hadn’t specified they serve main items cold. Next, this sandwich had only meat and lettuce inside, no arugula. I came back to the counter and showed the women who gave me the food my sandwich. She told me, “I will give you arugula and you put it in your sandwich yourself”. I was totally nonplussed. “Do I have to fix this wrong sandwich myself”? She said “You want us to make you another sandwich”? – as if I were asking for the second sandwich after eating one already. I said “I want to receive what I ordered”. Angrily grinning, she told her workers to prepare the correct sandwich, without offering any apology to me. But I was too fed up with this whole conversation and attitude, so I wanted to leave this not appetizing place ASAP. I threw all the "food" I bought for $20 to the garbage can and left this horrible place that serves nauseous, unhealthy meals made of cheap ingredients. Beside that, how is it possible to do everything wrong: wrong food, wrong preparation, and wrong handling their own errors? Although the sitting area looks nicely designed and relaxing, this wouldn’t make up for the rude and unprofessional staff at...
Read moreOn 5-5-2020. I ordered a bacon turkey bravo and a loaf of tomato basil bread for curb pick up an hour later. I went to pick order, i found out that 8minutes before my order was to be picked up they called to say they didnt have the bread, to call back the number to choose a different bread. When I called this number 4 times I was disconnected. I finally got frustrated , not being able to find the so called marked curbside pickup or being able to contact them , I left and found that the fashion square was open so I went there and they filled my order. (Their curbside was visually posted )even though I did go in for pickup. After my expenience with the advent health location I contacted corporate to let them know and request for a refund for the order I didnt get. They agreed with my fraustration however that was 2 weeks ago no refund or follow up. I had put my bank on notice and they said that if I didnt get refund by 2 weeks to dispute the charge, so I did that today. I must say thay Panera has a good product however the bakers must of been the only one manning the store at this location ,on that day ,during the pandemic. It shows me that Panera does not value my business that they are only are intetested in numbers and the bottomline. Their customers service, phone lines and follow up at this location sucks, I advise to stay away
interested o. The numbets and...
