I don't recommend anyone to ever eat here. The employees give you an attitude like they don't want to be working there. I walked in and notified 2 employees at the counter that I had an online order. I was not greeted when I walked in and felt an energy as if I was not wanted there but I brushed if off because I had already spent my money and time driving there on my lunch break. After I told them both my last and first name since I wasn't sure which would appear on the order they proceeded to ask for my order number and I told them after checking for it in my email. Once they found my order I was told I wouldn't have received my food with the name I gave them when I gave them both my first and last name (by the way my first name was on the order). I ignored that comment. I asked for a ranch sauce just in case I didnt like the blackened ranch sauce I ordered with my mobile order because I was being spontaneous and trying a different sauce. They checked my bag and told me one of each was in the bag and took the other ranch sauce that was put on the counter for me as if they owned the sauce before I could pick it up. If I was required to pay for an extra sauce that should have been mentioned. Once I got to my destination I realized two sauces were not in my bag (only the blackened ranch was in my bag). In summary the employees were rude and unprofessional. I will never return to any Popeyes again. I've had several bad experiences at different Popeyes restaurants and refuse to give my hard earned money to an establishment where employees continue to give an attitude as if I'm doing something wrong by coming to the establishment to spend my hard earned money. I came to try the new hot and spicy wings which were mediocre at best (not worth the hype) and my fries...
Read moreI work at a homeless shelter a few blocks away from this restaurant. I’ve only been to a Popeyes restaurant one time before my experience today and was shocked at the price that I was charged for the food that I Got which was awful. My coworker goes often because it is close to our organization and often comes back upset that she was treated with disrespect. I recently received a gift card to Popeyes from one of my coworkers and decided to give it a second chance. I pulled into the drive-through waited for about 20 minutes and was then asked by the employee handling the drive-through if I could come in because the drive-through wasn’t working. I proceeded to go inside, even though I had already spent half of my lunch break, waiting in the drive-through line and sat by the cash register for about 45 minutes ignored while the staff not only serviced other customers in the drive-through line, but witnessed half the staff with headphones on yelling at the drive through customers and the remaining staff having loud conversations about how annoyed they were. I thankfully finally got my meal which was a 3 piece classic chicken finger meal and cost about $12.99. Once I returned to my office I opened the box and the three chicken fingers I received were the size of my pinky and were completely disgusting thrown in with disgusting french fries it was awful. I’m typically not one to complain, but if you’re going to charge that much for fast food, it should be prepared and portioned correctly and most importantly the customers who come in should not be disrespected. I’ll head to McDonald’s next time and buy chicken fingers from the dollar menu rather than paying that much for bad food and rude service...
Read moreProbably the most disappointing trip I've ever had to a Popeye's. Drove out of my way 20 minutes because the Popeyes that's close to my job was having issues because it just had a power outage. When we arrived the speaker was not not working and they had no sign up. The line to order was extremely long because of this since employees were just hanging out of the window to wave us through. Then finally make it to the window to order we're told that our Popeyes signature chicken sandwich will take a little bit as they're made fresh and they don't cook fast. Within a minute of being told this we were given a Popeye's chicken sandwich and sent on my way. I of course then ate my fries first because Popeye's fries are phenomenal. As the long-awaited moment arrives for me to bite into my Popeyes spicy signature chicken sandwich I unwrapped it take my first bite, nothing but batter. As I continued to eat the sandwich in hopes that at some point I will find some chicken in there I'm disappointed to see that almost my entire chicken sandwich is batter with very little meat. Furthermore you could tell this sandwich had been extremely overcooked and was hard and distasteful. I even overheard someone from inside the store say after this batch of fries there's no more. I would rather be told I can't have a chicken sandwich then be sold one that was this disappointing. I will definitely not be revisiting this Popeyes establishment when I'm in the mood for the best product they have...
