As I write this, I don’t even know where to begin. We hosted a birthday/graduation party for our daughter at House on Lang. Julie and Christie were incredibly welcoming and so helpful in making suggestions and ensuring everything went smoothly in the planning. Christie was with us on the evening of the event and could not have been a kinder, more generous, more friendly hostess. We enjoyed her company and, as other reviewers have said, felt as though we’d made a friend. There were adults and young people at this party and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, the art project, a little shopping… It was a “perfect party” according to the guest of honor! Shout out to Brandy (of Hanalei Shaved Ice) who helped us set up and was also extremely friendly and helpful. I almost hate to share this little gem because it will become hugely popular!! I am delighted to recommend the House on Lang - Julie and Christie - wholeheartedly!! Whether you’re just shopping, stopping by for shaved ice, participating in one of their many interesting and fun community events or classes, or hosting a party of your own, House on Lang will not disappoint, rather, it will have you feeling like part...
Read moreWhere do I start? The House on Lang is my most favorite place in Orlando for multiple reasons! The vibe, the owners, the employees, the clothes, the decor, the backyard, the trailer, the events, the markets, the community...and more -- HOL is everything! My best friend and I go there often as a fun little outing and/or to just get away and shop! We also attend the art classes that they offer throughout the month -- we've done disco ball painting, recording painting, candle making, and more -- we always have such a good time and leave with a beautiful piece of art!
In general, HOL is more than just a boutique, it's an experience led by two incredibly kind, genuine and talented women. I recently hosted my birthday there and it was absolutely perfect -- we had about 15 girls and Christie led us in a super fun and interactive mixed media class that everyone raved about. I honestly couldn't say more great things -- experience it for yourself, trust me, you won't be disappointed. :) also supporting a local business & helping them thrive throughout the community is what it's all about --- 10/10...
Read moreThe reviews brought me here and it was worth the visit. Located on a small street with more than century old trees that were definitely the show stoppers. I couldn't stop looking at them. The owner greeted me and showed me around. I got some history of how the place came to be and how hard she and her daughter in law worked, how much love they put into each different themed room as well as a very whimsical trailer in the back yard. Lots of items to look at. So many ways I would turn and need to take another picture. Gorgeous, thoughtful set ups. There's so much more going on here than I can tell you, as I could see there are spaces outside and in for classes, gatherings and creativity. Thank you so much for taking the time to show me around.
If you're wanting more to do in the neighborhood & you're hungry, tired & on vacation, go to Anthony's Thornton for pasta followed by a Heavenly Foot Massage. It's all nearby. What...
