My husband took an Omega watch (that belonged to his father) to have a new battery placed in the watch. We have used this shop many times before and been extremely happy with them. Not the case for this particular experience. At no point in time did the shop give my husband an estimate of what the battery replacement would cost. So he was very surprised when they charged about 3x what had previously been paid for lifetime battery replacement in other watches. The first my husband knew of the cost was when he went to pick up the watch. He asked for explanation for the cost and was told that this cost is what they charged for batteries in "high-end" watches. BUT, that was not made clear when the watch was dropped off. He left the watch, so he could come back and talk to the owner....he came back three different times and received three different answers regarding why the high cost. The third time he finally got to speak to the owner, who proceeded to tell him that this was the charge and if he did not like, then he would remove the battery from the watch.

So be warned, make sure even if work is for a battery replacement, get an estimate...

I went into this repair Jewelry and Watch repair shop because I needed my ring sized. The man behind the counter said he couldn't do it since it was gold Plated, but since I needed to go down in size he had a different solution. He put a ring Guard on the ring and charged me $21.00 for the little piece of metal. I told him that sounded expensive and he gave some B.S. answer, saying the cost of metal when up. I then called the Helzberg diamonds that was in the area and they said they would only charge me $5.99 for a ring guard. What a screw job by this little weasel of a jeweler. And before he sold me the overpriced ring guard we were talking about how Amazon and other online platforms are taking over the marketplace. Now this is one of the reasons why. People overpricing items believing that the person won't know any better. If you live near this business and need either jewelry a watch or a repair then I recommend another business. If these guys charge $21.00 for a simple ring Guard, I'd be afraid to see what they charge for the much more...

I came to this business for my last time today. I went in on Thursday and they didn’t have any screens... at a phone screen fixing shop. I was assured that they would finish in 20 minutes when the screen came in on saturday(today). I paid a deposit and waited until Saturday. I went in at 4:05 pm and they said it would take 30. they didn’t finish with my phone until 4:55. 50 minutes. When I reminded the guy I he told me 20 minutes the last time, he laughed and asked if I was yelling. I wasn’t at all. No apology, no discount. I left and said thank you but I really should’ve refused to pay and taken my phone. I’m really disappointed, I’ve been coming here for years he past 5 years. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
