Bowlmor Lanes II — Local services in Osage Beach

If I could leave negative stars I would, but one will suffice. If you want to go here to have fun and bowl even SEMI competitively between friends and family, go somewhere else. We took my mother in law out for Mother’s Day Tuesday afternoon so I understand it’s not busy, but I couldn’t find anyone to help me for about 15 minutes at a time. All the balls sound like horses running down the lane, they’re greasier than a crisco can, so they just slip out of your hands.As a 6’2 285lb man, I shouldn’t struggle to launch an 8lb ball down the lane, but you can’t even hold on to them. One of the fluorescent lights near the door over the lanes is flickering bad as of 5/10/22, when I asked an employee to turn it off they seemed mad at me for asking, then seemed even more inconvenienced to move our family down a few lanes to avoid a panic at the disco situation. After learning there was a pool table to use, things seemed to turn around. Nope. Table is tiny, the felt is loose, cue ball is chipped, and it’s not even level. Our most recent experience was awful, sadly 😞 We reserved 2 lanes for a birthday party a week in advance. When we got there, there was confusion about the reservation. After we got that all figured out, we started bowling, our party had 3 children as well. Our lanes got moved twice during our visit... in the middle of games. When I asked why, we were first informed that there were league bowlers that didn't want to bowl next to kids... the second time we were moved we were told that the league bowlers lanes weren't working properly so they needed to bowl on ours... I then inquired about all of us being paying customers and was told "they pay a lot more to bowl here than you did". Needless to say, the whole atmosphere was most definitely NOT kid friendly and we will not be returning. We paid for 2 hours and bowled maybe 1... We also didn't receive a free pitcher of soda like we were told on the phone when we made the reservation.

Terrible management if you can even call it that. Rude, unorganized and obnoxious. Went with teenage daughter and friends. They put name on list to wait for a lane. Then a bunch of 21 and up kids swarmed the counter. They gave kids lane away. When we asked told the would get a lane soo . Same thing happened again. When tried to speak to someone was told they forgot it was a mistake,then told I've had a rough day I don't need this now. Boohoo welcome to the real world. Kid probably barely had a driver's license, some othe woman with baby on hip popped off. We asked what they had to do because it wasn't fair that beer drinkers and half dressed women got a lane. Told if we didn't like it we could leave. Maybe they should get some real help along with some manners. We won't be spending a dime there. The strip club is across street I think someone...
