I shop at Marshall quite frequently, but my last two visits were made memorable by one of the store associates who went out of his way to make me feel welcomed and in this day of oftentimes rude and lazy employees, he was a stunning example of what I consider the best of customer relations! Never have I written a letter to any company, however, I believe this young man should be praised for his outstanding attitude and given accolades for a job above and beyond what we have come to expect from associates who seem to hate what they do for a living and aren't afraid to show that disdain in how they treat your customers. The young man works at the Osage Beach, Missouri store, and his name is Skyler, I never asked for his last name (thinking that might have been too intrusive). If this young man was in my employ I would use him to train all other employees, he truly is that good! The store is pretty great, lots of merchandise, great deals.

It was overall quite messy and a bit tough to maneuver. I appreciate a chatty cashier, but please give Tina C a bit more training. I mentioned several times that I needed to be somewhere at a specific time, but for some reason it made her talk more to the point where it had nothing to do with anything and she had totally stopped ringing me up. I was trying to subtly push my items toward her, but she just wouldn't check me out. The place I needed to be was one mile away, I got in line with 35 minutes to be there, about 5 people in front of me and all but one register going and I got there with about 2 minutes to spare. Over 30 minutes to checkout while practically begging Tina to scan my items.

I absolutely LOVE this store, but the caveat is, if you see something you like, you MUST buy it on the spot, because chances are you won't see it again. They have an extensive collection of home decor, kitchen and gourmet foods, children, women and men's clothing, shoes, pet supplies and holiday decorations... AND furniture, amazing handbags and lovely carpets. Their selection is high end and many times you have a hard time getting around because there is so much merchandise.
