First off, the 1 star does not reflect upon the day shift crew. I entered the store in the early evening, so the one star reflects on the evening shift. I was specifically looking for bottles of wine as I was hosting a rather large event. The person working in the wine dept was too busy flirting with some lady, not even sure if she was a customer or not, to notice that I was even there. Eventually we made eye contact and he asked me if I wanted a tasting. Never asked can I help you. Passed on the wine tasting. I stated no that I needed some help finding a semi sweet wine, a dry wine and a sweet wine. It was clearly evident the person had no knowledge of wine. He showed me a certain section and walked away. No help what so ever. I winged it and picked out 12 1.5L bottles of 3 different wines. Check out, I was not given the 15 percent as advertised for Wine Wednesday until after the total was rang up and then I inquired if I was given the discount. Oops nope forgot that. Eventually it was rang up correctly. No worries, all turned out hunky dory! The 12 bottles of 1.5 liters were boxed into 2 different boxes and placed in my cart. Was told you might want to hold into the top box because it was wobbly. The worker then opened the door for me and stood there. What! I thought Macadoodles practice is to take your items to your car. Nope she just stood there holding the door open for me while 4 other employees stood around talking amongst themselves. I heave the cart to my car holding the top box cause its wobbly due to their packaging. I unload the boxes and take the cart back to the building. If you are not going to have employees take your purchase to your car, provide outside cart racks. Once at the doors, employees again gabbing right inside the door ways. Oblivious. Again . There is a saving grace though. The best part of the experience was the two gentleman walking into the store who did not work at Macadoodles, both of whom called me ma'am, stated let me get you that door for, better yet let me grab your cart and take it in and with a best smiles on their faces told me to have a great day! Saw this photo and was encouraged only to be left with one of the poorest customer service experiences I have ever been apart of. I walked in hoping to do some quick shopping. I was wearing a swimsuit with a cover up. Immediately I was told I would need to cover my body or not enter the store. I was wearing a cover up...but i complied and put on a jacket in 90 degree weather to appease them. Upon reentering, the guy made a joke about iT. While not amused, i brushed it off. What was really the icing on the cake for me though, is another young lady walked in after me, wearing a pink, sequined crop top and black shorts. Fully dressed and the old hag standing by the door started scowling at her and said she needed to leave or cover up. She defended herself quickly, and embarrassedly explained she was wearing a shirt. I piped up quickly that she was indeed wearing a shirt. The old woman started mumbling under her breath with the most disgusted look on her face. The girl, embarassedly walked into the store to do her shopping. The lady continued on and the man across from.her said something like "i agree with you but technically its a shirt" as if they were all shaming this girl for existing within her own body. She was FULLY DRESSED. idk if the old woman is threatened by young pretty women, idk if they are all just basking in misogyny, but regardless as a woman i felt targeted, like i wasnt welcome, and shamed. It was definitely NOT A FRIENDLY environment. I...

The first time I was here I was caught off guard by the 5 people that greeted me at once. 😂 Today I was ready. I smiled and waved as I entered into the adult-liquid-candystore. This place is fully stocked and has almost every single beer, wine and liquor I’ve ever seen/tried in my life. Love the selection, love the cleanliness, love the touristy gifts they have, snack section and of course, the customer service. This is a great addition to our lake businesses. The only suggestion I’d have for this place is to stock a “local” section of liquor and mixers. There’s so many to choose from between breweries wineries and distilleries and I’m sure at least one of them would be happy to sell their products here....
