I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Cozy Cafe and it truly captured the essence of a mom and pop gem. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly transported me to a bygone era. The cozy ambiance felt like a trip to Grandma's house, where every visit was filled with comfort and cherished memories.
The breakfast offerings were a delightful journey into traditional flavors and homemade goodness. The menu was a perfect reflection of a place that takes pride in providing wholesome, made-with-love meals. It's rare to find a breakfast spot that not only serves up delicious dishes but also captures the essence of nostalgia. The attention to detail in each dish was apparent, as if it was crafted by someone who truly cares about the experience they're creating for their patrons.
The staff added to the charm, treating every guest like a member of their extended family. It's refreshing to step into an establishment that feels like a community gathering place, where conversation flows freely and the connections made feel genuine.
The Cozy Cafe is truly a hidden treasure that evokes the comforts of home and the love put into every meal. If you're looking for a breakfast spot that feels like a warm hug from Grandma, this is the place to be. A heartfelt thank you to the Cozy Cafe for preserving the spirit of Mom and Pop eateries and sharing it with all who walk...
Read more30 years in business? I do not see how. Based on the positive reviews, we decided to try it out. We arrived at 9:50 in the morning and were told it would be 20 minute wait. We were celebrating a bachelorette weekend with 6 girls, so we were so excited that the wait was short! After 20 minutes passes, they sat a 6 person group that had shown up late. At 40 minutes, as they were pulling another group back, a waitress asks if we are willing to split our group between two tables. We declined as we are celebrating an event and wanted to be seated together. The waitress response was incredibly rude as she huffed and said “well you’re going to be waiting a bit if you don’t split.” When l asked how long a bit was, she turned and walked away. At 50 minutes of waiting, another waitress approaches and says they’re waiting on a table that has been sitting and chatting for one hour and now we are waiting on two different tables to finish their meals for us to be seated. As it is now almost lunch time and we have been waiting a total of 55 minutes, we decided to go elsewhere. The transparency of the wait times and the kindness of the wait staff need...
Read moreLike others said, it's a small dining space and it's loud, but it's bearable. The staff are very friendly and treat their customers like family. The service was a little slow, but it was mid-morning and busy, so that's excusable. The food though, is my reason for a 3 star rating. I got an omelette with hashbrowns and an english muffin and they were all soaked in butter and grease. The portions were also rather large. My mom got a BLT that was not as greasy. After only a few bites I started to feel full. None of us could finish. The food made us feel unpleasantly full. My party of four wasted enough food to easily feed two other people. I understand that some people are able to stomach large portions of very greasy food, but...
