Festival Foods — Local services in Oshkosh

I had ordered the following for a party 1 month in advance, a fruit tray, veggie tray, cheese and sausage tray, brushetta , dips, breads and buns from the bakery. I called the Wednesday before my Saturday party to insure everything was still in order. At no time did anyone at the Deli tell me they did not make fresh brushetta anymore. When it came time to pick up my order at 11:00 there was no fresh brushetta, the cheese and sausage tray was still being made, and the dips were not ready either. Luckily I gave myself plenty of time between pick up and party. I was told by the Deli Manager they didn't have brushetta for years, and they sent some very small cartons of premade brushetta not enough for my party not what I wanted. In over a month my guess would have been that someone should have checked the orders taken by those who didn't have an understanding of what was available. Additionally, the bread for the brushetta that I was charged for was already 6 days old according to the package label. The Deli manager offered me a gift card for my trouble which was a nice thing to do, however the $10.00 gift card didn't even cover the cost of all the items I couldn't use that I was charged for and wasn't fresh or what I ordered, much less the time my husband spent waiting for the items to be completed. We will go elsewhere for our catering needs...

Love your store. Employees are what puts it over the top. Produce folks are always friendly helpful. They check over the fruit and veggies to keep the dept. clean, fresh and eye caching Camelle cheeses are super and she and the rest of the deli staff are wonderful in producing a vast panorama of eye catching delights. Scot in the meat dept. bends over backwards to suggest things for me. That meat case is a work of art. Even when working full tilt to keep her cases neatly stocked Char always has a pleasant greeting and a smile. Love the bakery and the the staff making and bringing out various tanttilizing goodies and seems to take great pleasure in providing us with these wonders with a smile. All the checkers are so professional, fast and so very sweet I look forward to seeing them EVERY day.They always provide me with a happy feeling for the rest of my day The lady at the front desk is always helpful with a smile. Don't Know who the manager is since Rick left but the rest of the management staff makes me feel at home. Shop your store six days a week and a great way to start the day off feeling good. This staff throughout this store provides excellent service but above all they make the shopper feel part of a very happy well trained group of above average employees that are there to serve your every need. ...

Very unique experience at festival foods this morning. I didn’t realize this until later, but dropped $130 in cash in the parking lot. I told my daughter that we needed to drive back and see if it was still in the parking lot. She is only 15, but she told me we were wasting our time because if anybody found it, they would just keep it. After not finding it in the parking lot, I thought that I left it on the cashier counter. when I asked she mentioned that somebody turned it in at the service desk, which shocked my daughter. It turns out it was an employee that found the money and turned it in. Who does that anymore??? The employee that found it wouldn’t except a financial gift I offered him when I tracked him down. I wanted to write this in order to thank Colton for his honesty and the lesson he was able to teach my daughter. I can only hope that the owner or some high up manager at Festival reads this and is able to thank him in a way I...
