I bought my grandmother a Mother's Day Dairy Queen gift card for $15. I purchased this card at Target in Ottumwa Iowa just right down the street from this Dairy Queen. Grandma and I then went into town which is about a 25 miles drive to this Dairy Queen and she wanted to get a cone. She handed me her card and I walked up to the window. I noticed a sign that was really small in size stating "cash only". I then proceeded to ask if they even took this kind of gift card the cashier said no. Very dissapointed. The cashier told me Pella Iowa Dairy Queen would be the closest one, umm not really because that means a 45 mile drive from grandmas house to the Dq just for a darn cone.
