We went into the store this afternoon because it is the first and only crystal shop in the Oak Park Mall. We are avid crystal collectors and really enjoy finding unique specimens to add to our collection. We went in with our daughter and her best friend. Both are almost thirteen but both are polite and pleasant, and enjoy crystals themselves. We were in the store letting them pick things out. They were looking at different things, there were no signs saying to not touch the crystals and they were in open containers. These were small tumbled stones, jewelry, not expensive specimens. The lady in the shop began to get irritated that they were looking at things and, even though she was right there basically right on top of them, said that she was worried because things "might go missing." The shop owners are the cutest and widely knowledgeable about gems, crystals, rocks and fossils. All my questions are always answered and appreciated every visit. Ive purchased over 30 crystals and various things from their shop over the 6ish months, everything from jewerly to stand-alone gems to display. I always take a card and make it a mission to distribute it the next time i see a family member, friend, acquaintance, or friendly person i convince to travel with me in person there. The owners always make me smile and theres always positive banter back and forth. I always pick out something fot next time since theres always a next time i want to see them and appreciate them for staying in business and in a field i am so passionate about inside myself....

The pricing is astronomically high. You're looking at items priced at $220 that ordinary are priced around $15-30 in other crystal shops, for the same quality. I was looking forward to visiting this store, but am very disappointed. I was told that one item (which had no price tag) was $125. I had previously purchased the same item (of the same quality) in another store for no more than $10. Disclaimer: I am from out of state, I have no direct competition with this store, and I love going to rock stores throughout the country.
