I have been wanting to make a wooden sign forever and was very excited when I stumbled on this business. We had an awesome Girl’s Night Out and had a great time making our projects. Joseph is very professional, very patient and very knowledgeable in his trade. I could not believe how great our projects turned out. By far the best craft I have ever done. The process is pretty simple. You go online and choose your product, purchase it and they sand your wood, create a stencil design and have everything ready for you when you get there. They also have take home kits you can do on your own but if you want to do it in the studio, he explains the process very well. The project I choose required me to glue my boards together and then use a nail gun to put it together. And guess what?!? Using those tools are just as easy to do as it looks on TV! I have done other paint nights with friends but this was exceptionally different because everyone choose their own project. We had 12 people and not one of us picked the same project. I recently reserved an afternoon session for myself and my daughters and was very impressed with the level of service, options and help available to us. I reserved a time slot through email. Hammer and Stain responded very timely and was accommodating of my time needs. I pre-ordered projects online which was fairly easy. Just a lot of options so hard to choose. I like how each of us got to pick our project as we all have different personalities. On the day of our session Joseph at Hammer and Stain was warm and welcoming. He was also flexible with us on starting time so we could eat some of the lunch I brought in. Joseph was a huge help in expanding our creativity and coming up with nice color schemes and painting techniques. It was a lot of fun and was a really nice bonding experience with my daughters. I would go again.

Went back to Hammer and Stain again this time for Moms Night Out. I had another wonderful experience and really enjoyed having Joseph there again to guide us through our projects. Next adventure we are bringing the kids for a fun Christmas...

We brought a group of 24 women for a Moms Night Out event to Hammer & Stain this past weekend and had an amazing time! It was easy to plan the event because Joseph was so responsive, timely, and willing to help any way that he could to ensure our night was a success! The evening ran flawlessly, thanks to Joseph and his team. In addition, I appreciated all the attention to detail, and the fun atmosphere. The studio is very clean, comfortable, and professional. They had all the materials set up prior to us arriving, and they handled the clean up, which was really nice.
