This store is a ton of fun to walk around! They have quite an assortment of unique items, some of which would likely require some backwater searching at multiple places to find. (A water gun that has the capability of reverse firing for surprise shots? Scented pet toys? Sign me up!)
You never know what you're going to come across -- not to mention they have some pretty nifty deals over here as well! I haven't seen some of these prices in quite a while, truth be told... especially since prices have recently gone up again closer to where I live.
But that said, you will have to put in some work to get the most bang for your buck. Not everything here is a superb deal -- while the book section has a ton of nice markdowns, the food section in particular is a bit lacking in such. A lot of the consumables have prices that come close to (or even slightly above) retail -- here, you will probably want to pay more attention to their special deals to get the most mileage out of your dollar. And just like any other store, the "their price" section is rather misleading...
The store is also a bit disorganized and cluttered; for example, finding body lotion proved to be difficult because it was mixed in with all the conditioner, hand wash, shampoo, etc.
To sum things up: If you have some spare time, know what your money is worth, and get in the mood for some bargain hunting -- you will probably have a great time here (as I did). I definitely want to come back here again!
However, people who prefer convenience shopping...
Read moreWell, to be honest we didn't walk around the whole store, but I did notice one thing that is absolutely annoying. Beware!! that if the tags on the merchandise is not printed all the way, you'll be walking back to go and get different ones and the prices are not always what they seem. If you think it says $0.49 you can bet that it's got a $2 amount to go with that $0.49 cents. They do on the other hand have things that you probably won't find at other stores. This makes it a little on a fun side, but the prices of the stuff is not cheaper so if you're just looking for Nostalgia things are things that you haven't seen in a while then maybe this is a place you should go. But you will be paying just about whatever you'd be paying in regular store for the stuff if not more. They do have a Ollie's rewards card at register so make sure you ask the cashier for one. They won't tell you that there is one, but you'll see it sitting there and you just tell them you want to...

I advise 🚫 NOT to drive up right beside the docking area. See huge pothole photos. Go slow in the lot because there's chunks of blacktop and concrete in it. Teri checked me in and signed my paperwork. She also helped me by making sure they could open the dock plate, ensuring that I was on the dock correctly before I left. Nice lady! Thank you Teri. 🙂 They DO get there at 7:00 AM, unlike another Ollie's location that I delivered to that gets there when the store opens at 9:00 AM. You can drop in either door (US Xpress drivers) but I don't break the seal. The store has to do that. I also made sure the trailer that was there before mine is indeed emptied out. Lots of photos of truck area back there and docking area. Please be my guest and...
