I've never been treated so badly at a store before. For starters, I am an autistic adult and will not be able to understand someone unless they are straightforward and honest. I was carrying a lot of items at the time, and reached for an item with one of my free hands that was on the shelf, not realizing part of it was going to knock over some boxes. Boxes hit the ground, nothing was broken, no one was injured. I went to turn around to pick up the stuff and the women at the front immediately makes a super condescending comment on how I need to put my stuff down. Now, I'm trying to process what she means by that and couldn't even get myself to speak, let alone explain myself. She just kept going on and on about how I need to put my stuff down. I have a free hand? I could have picked up the boxes and put them back perfectly fine. Either way she figured out that I wasnt understanding what she was saying. I couldn't stay in the store a second longer because I was about to have an anxiety attack. I'm sorry for not picking up the boxes, but to treat someone so horribly for an accident is inexcusable.
