24th Street Sports Tavern — Restaurant in Oxford Charter Township

BOYCOTTING...24th Street Tavern!!!!!

I will NEVER eat at this place again. Not because of the food or the service, but because the owners are rude, controlling, arrogant jerks!!! They have the nerve to try and dictate who can park in front of their patio (it's an open parking lot, and they do NOT own the parking spots) and the owner actually PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED (grabbed him by the throat) a customer who parked his F150 in front of the patio who refused to move it after the owner demanded he do so because it was "his" spot!! And there have been customers asked to leave because they "looked" like they didn't belong, according to the owner. The owner was quoted speaking to a gentleman with a Harley motorcycle jacket "The biker bar is across the street." and all the guy did was just walk through the door. I've never seen such despicable behavior of anyone in the hospitality business.

They also own The Old Detroit Burger Bar in Lake Orion. NEVER going to any of these places ever again!!

There are plenty of other restaurants right there downtown that have better food, a better atmosphere, and DECENT owners. For the best burger, or delicious chicken wings, try The Tap. For a variety of options (not unhealthy, greasy bar food) try The Ox (nice atmosphere, too.). Casa Real has good Mexican food. And all of these places have prices comparable, or even better that 24th Street. How they stay in business is beyond me. But I will NEVER go...

Faith was our server tonight (10/7) we had a party of 7 and a baby. Faith took at least 8 minutes to come and get our drink order, but we quickly realized she was the only one on the floor so we completely understood and made no comment about it. as she took our orders, her attitude left us shocked. my brother asked for our wings to come out with the our appetizer dips, to which she snarkily replied “that was the plan”. she asked if we needed anything and we did, (a few limes) to which she told us (multiple times) she was the only server. why ask if i need anything if you’re going to be mad when i do? it was clear this server takes her anger out on her tables, and as someone who is also a server (at a bar!), she should not be working there if she cannot be even remotely nice to people when the night isn’t going how she’d like. i ordered a caesar salad with salmon, and when it arrived i thought i had been served chicken. the salmon was grossly overcooked, not one hint of pink, they served it to me dry, crispy, and white. if my server had been decent i would have felt comfortable bringing it up, but this was my first time here and my family and i were left disappointed in EVERY way. will not be returning and you...

I love the chicken Fajita wraps and the spinach dip..burgers are the BEST in Mich and the chicken wings., not to mention a wide variety on their menu ..Victor and his brother Linden are great hosts and make everyone feel special They always check on you and make sure that you have everything you need and that the food is good. not to mention they look like movie stars ✨⭐️💫 I mean that in a very respectful way !!!..they work very hard to please everyone..5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish there was a 10 star scale System 🙏 they certainly deserve it ..I challenge anyone in the state of Michigan including Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings.. and others ..if they would say they have better chicken wings and better burgers especially with their designer buns with their stamp on it, (the name of Business) VIC’S “The 24th street Travern” in Oxford..the daily specials are extremely popular and fresh. great starters.. GOOD SERVICE.. the wide variety and wonderful selection of tap beers..You will find plenty of parking in front and ample parking in the back you can’t get better then that 😃They certainly deserve the keys 🔑🔑🔑to the city of Oxford...
