I’ve been coming to Harvest Time to shop for years. I really want to give my money to local businesses so I shop there even if their prices aren’t the cheapest. Over the last several years they’ve switched to produce/garden center in summer and a pet and farm store exclusively in winter. I often leave the store with 200+ lbs of feed for my two dogs, two cats and wild birds. Their doors do not open automatically and every time I leave, the young cashiers watch me as I struggle to navigate a 200 lb cart through their doors without offering to help. Today I suggested to the young man that they could make things easier on their customers if the staff helped open the doors when customers had a big load. I got a big FU look. I also bought two of the zucchinis and I could not even get a knife in them they were so rock hard. Walked past the Honeycrisp apples at $1.99 a pound and they look like seconds with black spots all over them.
