Evening manager, Donna, was extremely rude and condencending. She took a $5 bill from the change bin (of which i assume was from the previous customer that used the self checkout) and snapped at me and me and my husband who didnt even notice it and said "thats not yours!" And held it right against her chest like a child. Pretty sure she pocketed it too because that was the ony moment she didnt hover over us.
She proceeded to stand near us and watch us scan every single item and lecture us on how to bag our items, pointing her finger and talked down to us like we were children or too dumb to understand how to use the self checkout. No matter how much we calmly tried to explain that we understood, she didn't listen.
She repeatedly got in my personal space and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and to a point threatened because of just how often she just pushed herself in front of me. After a few times of that, i felt the physical need to put myself as far from her as possible.
There was absolutely no "excuse me" or any sense of decent humanity or common sense. Never introduced herself or asked us anything remotely of "can i help you?" She just inserted herself into the situation and assumed we needed to be babysat like children and lectured on how to bag our own groceries that we were paying for.
This experience was so unprofessional and frankly, uncomfortable for me and my husband that we no longer feel respected or safe...
Read moreI love the idea of this place. Supposedly it's owned by it's employees, and I really wanted to like it.
However the selection isnt that great and prices are pretty high. Most things are only worth buying if they're on sale.
My biggest qualm though is they do what so many grocery store resort to now. The meats all get marked as a deal like buy 5 for $25 or something. It sounds like a great deal and you think you're really saving some money. Then you look at the price of each individual meat. If you grab a steak from their sale section and the price is let's say $15.99 per lb, you can walk to the non sale section and find the exact same steak for 7.99. I found by shopping in the 5 for $25 section I actually ended up spending more because I get stuck with some meant I wouldn't have even bought anyways.
I hate feeling lied to or tricked when I shop, and that's how this store makes me feel. And they advertise so heavily that the store is owned by employees, it really makes me doubt the extent of that...
Read moreThis place take the cake man No whole milk ! Turkey hill failed to bring any but the dairy management also failed to contact another provider? I'm thinking he/she must get there's at giant where that's not an issue?? Multiple other products not there as well, also the entire time I'm in the store I was like wow why are things so much more expensive??? Then I found the problem! Lmao break from what holding the wall up ? I looking at $60 plus between the four of them ! Complete dead wait ! I'm not sure who the manager of this place is but I challenge you to look in the mirror before work tomorrow and own...
